Havent skated in a long time. Bought cause they have ok wheels and bearings and adjustable toe stop and trucks. They work great and are comfortable. I would recommend. Great skates for the casual skater. Do not buy the cheaper skates. These are the better entry level skates. I have medium width feet and the toe was not too tight. Once I adjusted the wheel nuts and toe stop with the tool provided, huge difference over rental skates.

I purchased these as my first pair of derby skates. They are great for beginners but as I got more experienced I lost confidence in these skates. The skates are heavy and sometimes make my ankles sore with how much I feel weighed down. I think its the plate being heavy that causes some of the issue. Plus the lack of support in the ankle. I cant confidently maneuver on my toe stops because the weight of the boot makes my ankles weak. That is with changing the stock toe stops to hockey stops. I think changing the plate would greatly improve the experience. But with the boot being quite bulky it would make more sense to just buy a new skate that is a slimmer, less padded boot with a lightweight plate. These would probably be fine for recreational skaters. ... show more

I really like these skates. They are perfect for recreational skating. I will probably buy different wheels at some point for indoor wear as I'm using these wheels for sidewalks.

I like the skates they are very nice and the only thing I did not like about them was I cannot try them on before I bought them. Because Iโ€™m new to skating I wasnโ€™t sure if they would break in. I feel like I need to order another pair if they have wide seats. I wear them but after a while my feet hurt I need to loosen the laces. Hope that helps ... show more
