  • Works great for its purpose
Style: Tenor/Baritone Sax Pattern: Single
Keeps my tenor neck dry. The plastic tip fell out after a week and I can't seem to find it but I just make sure to not insert that side into the neck. Definitely recommend this product to others just make sure to Krazy Glue the plastic tips on just in case you end up loosing them forever. Is about the same length as the saxophone neck and I have no complaints on it for this month that I've had it. ... show more

  • works for alto sax bell
Style: Tenor/Baritone Sax Pattern: Single
works great to clean my bell where the spit collects and my other cleaner doesn't get down to.

  • It does the job
Style: Tenor/Baritone Sax Pattern: Single
It works great but you have to keep an eye on the small rubber ends…could fall off and scratch the inside surface of the tenor sax neck. Also works for the mouthpiece but be careful that the little rubber end caps are on the ends of the wire

  • Very useful, also works for cleaning my flute
Style: Alto Sax Pattern: Single
I bought this to clean and dry the neck of my alto sax as I was having problems getting regular cleaning swabs stuck in the neck. (They really only run through one way but I can't always remember which way is the right direction.) I also discovered I love to use this to swab out my flute. Nicer than putting a small cloth on the end of the tuning rod. It fits the nicely and drys the head joint well. Obviously, it wouldn't clean the main section of the flute but I often play for just a short time and it does dry the top three or four inches. ... show more

  • Good alternative to the H.A. Neck Saver
Style: Tenor/Baritone Sax Pattern: Single
Looks to be not quite as good as the more popular H.W. Neck Saver. This one is more fuzzy, and looks like it might shed. Only time will tell. The good point is that it's the proper length. The H.W. is a little short.

  • Piece of Junk. Do not order
Style: Tenor/Baritone Sax Pattern: Single
This is a piece of junk. Comparing it to what I ordered previously: http://www.amazon.com/HW-Products-UTGN-Tenor-Saver/dp/B0007XY8TO/ref=sr_1_fkmr3_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1408234970&sr=8-1-fkmr3&keywords=tenor+sax+neck+cleaner materials are lighter and less absorbent. this product costs $6.69 vs. the rico at $4.95. I was confused because the picture of the rico neck saver is also blue and looks identical to the HW. In fact the neck saver is yellow and even visually one can observe that the fibers are shorter and of a less dense material. I reiterate it's a piece of junk. splurge for the extra $1.74 and order the HW. Rico you should be ashamed of yourselves! But I don't have strong feelings on the subject. ... show more

  • Love it!
Style: Alto Sax Pattern: Single
As an alto sax player who has tried many cleaning swabs this one is a favorite! I’ve had this for about a year and it is still in perfect condition!
