And, to be straightforward, this was one of the best decisions I made in my musical journey. I believe whoever designed this accessory truly understands what musicians need. Firstly, the product size is perfect for usage by adults. It's compact, lightweight, and fits perfectly on your finger giving you the freedom to move around, play your primary instrument and still be able to add that shaker sound without any inconvenience. It gives me the chance to multitask while maintaining the quality of the sound. I'm particularly impressed by the quality of the sound it produces. It's clear, vibrant, and surprisingly strong for such a small device! When mixed with other instruments, it not only stands its ground but contributes significantly to an overall lively sound. As for durability, this little gadget is sturdy, built for long term use.     • Exactly what it looks like
I bought this and the LP finger shot together and believe it or not the products actually sound different and play a little different. I often switch between the two depending on what types of music the musicians are playing. This one however can be used like a shaker/maraca type as well as a snare type sound. Because of the shape and the amount of little bbs in it, it’s got a more washy sound than the LP finger shot. The LP has a more short attack and can’t really be used as a shaker (also has less bbs inside). This one has slightly more versatility. Great little addition to have with a cajon. ... show more

If you are looking for a Finger Shot, look elsewhere, this is just a simple shaker that is set up as a ring and has a decent sound. The fit is alright, and I appreciate that it's a little tight so it will stay. Also, I really appreciate that it is made in the USA. However, since this is just a shaker, it makes sound when you shake it in any direction, not just in one direction, the way a finger shot does. Got it? I thought at first that this little shaker was too quiet, but actually it’s perfect. I am a petite female, so the tight fit is great for me, but I can see how it may be too tight for other players. Fits perfectly on a ring finger, and the best part is that as a conga player, it’s compact enough that it doesn’t affect my dry slap, as it does not get in the way. I purchased one just to add more percussion in my one-man band. It really is not loud enough on its own. If it was twice the volume it would be acceptable. Great sound just not loud enough. But with two of these on my hand the sound is amplified and it becomes more than acceptable. In a future model of this I would expect or hope that the manufacturer would increase the size of the shaker to about twice the size it is now. With two of these on your hand you will have perfect volume. I suggest just biting the bullet and bought and getting two of them you won’t regret it. ... show more
