Look at the picture. There is no banana for scale, but I've got big hands. Check out the size of this kinetic strap! This was expensive, but when I've got my Diesel truck with camper stuck, I want the best recovery product there is. After a lot of reading, I settled on Rhino. Everything about this is top quality. The attention to detail is good to see. For example, at the ends, where the rope is spliced back into itself, the taper is very well done. Cheaper product does not do that - just an abrupt step change. It makes a difference, and it is not something you would notice unless you knew enough to look for it. Now, a few things. This takes up a huge amount of room. It comes with a duffle bag, but this is going to make a serious dent in the storage space I have. It will also take a pair of good-sized shackles. I bought two soft shackles that should work well. No, I have not tested this yet, but I have used kinetic straps before, and I always wanted one. Now I own one of the best! ... show more

This rope is excellent. Pulled a small tractor through soft ground, and it was nice to have pulling without the jarring that comes with "solid" ropes or chains. Smooth recovery of my vehicle, and gentle on all equipment. Highly recommend.

I bought this just before a trip to our camp last week mainly in case someone got stuck in the yard and I'd have to use my RWD truck to pull them out. That didn't happen but I got stuck by backing into a ditch instead of a driveway about 1/4 mile away. My friend pulled out my 3/4 ton truck loaded down with about 2,000 lbs. of gear using his 1/2 ton Ram pickup and just a bit of momentum and snatched it out before I even gave it the gas on the first attempt. He had to pull it mostly sideways pulling it so hard that it bent the recovery hook on the truck but the big rope just got it done and is ready for the next pull. It was my first time not using a chain but instead this sort of thing and it's 1/2" soft shackle and I'm now a fan! I noticed at night that it has reflective threads weaved into it for safety as well. It's high quality and that's what you need when you're stuck at night. ... show more

Haven't used for recovery yet, but my initial impressions are good. Looks and feels very heavy duty. Rope does not have any frays or imperfections in it. Loops look very secure. It came shipped in nice packaging and was in a nice canvas case that was included. They threw some swag in as well. Got it on black friday pricing which was very reasonable compared to others of the same size. Yes, made in China but what isn't. At least its an American company and that's something I can support.
