Super good quality considering the price! The mic isn't very effective I'm afraid, however, that isn't important to me. I wanted to use this outside, and being a project-minded person, I decided to waterproof it for fun. I purchased a silicon conformal coating (from Amazon) and basically painted the liquid on the board (both sides!) and it works fine! Love it. Keep buying them cuz my daughter is basically blind but can see bright lights so she loves staring at it. But she keeps biting and drooling on them and then it shorts out as bd doesn’t work anymore. She is 10, not a baby. As a mom with a child with disabilities it can be hard to find things that she can play with that she can see and enjoy and bright lights like this are one of them. Bought this for a small gathering. Got it today and hung it up to the ceiling. The patterns are fun and the lights are bright. I put music on my phone, turned it all the way up and held the speaker up to the light, but the patterns seemed to continue as normal. Even though the "automatic sound mode" doesn't seem to work, it's a great party light. ... show more

I have other TSSS lighting devices and this is on par with them. On a price vs value rating, these lights are a good value. This light in particular is ok. It is bright, it cycles thru several combinations/ modes and does react to sound/music, which causes the light to reverse the mode (I think?). It is not weatherproof, but could be used outside away from water/rain. I'd say the only down side is finding the right place to mount this thing. So far the best place may be in the middle of a wall, which allows the light to be projected radially, against the wall, producing the best effect, IMO. Mounted off by itself, the light really doesn't do a lot, it needs something to reflect off of. There are 2 small slot type mounting holes on the back, which would allow surface mount, were it not for the cord that comes out the back. You'll have to be a little creative... That said they are still good little lights and I'm have fun with the one I bought. ... show more

Super cute and very flashy! Make sure you're ready for a lot of light brightly blinking everywhere. Such a cool idea for a wall/window. Fun and easy to plug in, hang up and go. The music reactive thing seems a bit of a gimmick. Maybe it increases changes in a club or something, but it will continue to spin and shine without any noise at all. Personally, I love the bright and festive colors spinning around and the concept that it radiates off the sides to make a rather uncommon and inexpensive wall display is unique enough to get a thumbs up from me. ... show more
