These are my favorite journals. I use them as a daily journal a page a day so I use to in a year. I love the size, The cream paper is excellent and smooth, and the college faint lines are perfect. They are made well and hold up well I have Botton them for several years.

This is actually the second set of these notebooks for me. I was relieved they were still available! Every morning since May 1,1999, with a few gaps, I write "Morning Pages," as Julia Cameron directs in her "Artist's Way" program. This is totally stream-of-consciousness brain-dump writing, not meant to be shown to anyone. But even so, I do keep all of them, at the request of my daughter. I've written them in various types of notebooks, and on loose paper as well. Being left-handed makes the process painful if all I can get is a wire-bound notebook. I also prefer college rule. These notebooks are the best I've used in all the years of writing my Pages! I only gave them four stars for durability because it's still a flexible notebook, but they've held up well, even when crammed into a briefcase for travel. And perfect for a left-handed writer to use. Smooth and pure white paper, a pleasure upon which to write. I hope they never stop making them!

One of the best notebook/journals I have used. The paper is all that it promises to be: perfect for fountain pens, gel pens, even fine to medium porous/felt tip markers. Love the numbered pages and the two ribbons. I also really like the B5 size. Perfect for note taking, general writing, and notes for use in a presentation or lecture. The flexible covers make it easy to fit into a messenger style briefcase. The green covers are nice looking and a nice break from standard black notebooks. My only wish is that it would be able to purchase green cover notebooks - currently the offer is 2 pack and only one green at a time. Otherwise, highly recommend these gems! Edit: as of 6/4/2023 -- They now offer more cover color choices! I was able to order the Green/Green cover color for both notebooks. AWESOME!!!

I'm actually surprised at how great these are. The pages are sturdy/thick and pre-numbered for you, there is a "Date" on every page, and a "Table of Contents" section at the front so you can fill in which pages contain which notes/information. There are 2 "bookmarks" that are different colors. Everything about these are just really well thought out, plus they look and feel pretty classy. The cover feels great in the hand and it can take some light water if you need to run to your car on a drizzly day. My use case is, it's great for taking notes for a long class, I hang the first marker at the start of the current testable material and the second on my current page. Then at the end of a subject/post-test, I update the table of contents with the added pages.

The craftmenship of the journal is great. After using it and folding it on its spine for several months, it has held up and there is no visible cracking or separation of the cover or spine of the journal. The paper is very smooth and wonderful to write on. The paper can hold fountain pen ink well with no bleed through or visible writing on the other side. The only issues that I had was a section of page numbers were out of order. The book jumped from 12 to 29, then from 44 to 13, and finally to 28 to 45. Beside this issue, which could easily be a small production misstake with a binding machine that could get by quality control. I would recommend this to anyone who is a more serious journaler or writer.

I love this notebook. Firstly, it's well made. The pen glides seamlessly across the pages. Second, I like there's a blank space for dates to be entered. There are 2 strings tied, which is helpful if you use the notebook for more than one topic. There is a small folder in the back, but it appears mine tore, so it's just a glorified folder instead of a pocket. I did purchase some pen holders that can affix to the front so I can easily have a pen available. The only thing I would add to make this better is a spot to securely hold a pen, but since Amazon makes it so easy to find things, that seems to have worked. I bought the two pack, one green and one black. It's held up very well, pages stay flat and the paper is good quality.

I use this for my daily journal. I am on my fourth book. It is easy to write balanced on my lap as I sit in my favorite easy chair. The pages open flat. The back inside cover has a pocket which is great for miscellaneous pieces of paper related to my journal use. Paper quality is excellent. I use a ball point pen and sometimes an automatic ink pen. Both work well. I particularly like the numbered pages, line spacing and the size of the pages at the beginning I can use for Table of content. There is room for the date, page, and topic. Good price, great book. I have gifted a few others with it also.
