  • Didn't fall into the three feet of snow
They work great! I used them (I'm a girl about 170 lbs) and my guy friend who is close to 200 lbs used them. Neither of us had any issue and we didn't fall into the snow. They are long, which means they are good at keeping you steady and upright. Super pretty blue color, too.

  • Seems good. Carrying bag is meh
I Will come back and review these after my kids use them in the snow for a few months. I bought 3 separate brands for my 3 kids ages 8-10. This one (retrospect lynx), the Yukon snowbash, and the chinook trekker. None of them came with poles so I bought A set of the $20 adjustable poles From amazon for each of them. On first impressions, this one and the chinook came with carrying bags. The Yukon did not include a bag. Both bags came with mesh windows for good air circulation to help dry the snowshoes. However, this lynx pair’s bag did not have anywhere to put poles. The poles do not fit in the bag nor is there a carrying strap on the outside of the bag like there is with the other brand. The metal on the bottom of the snowshoe feels firm enough but it seemed sort of..corroded? On one side. Silvery powder came off on my hands when I rubbed the uneven part of the metal. Not sure what’s up with that. We will see how they hold up in The snow! ... show more

  • Weight Chart Unhelpful
Great fit and stability. However, the sizing/weight chart is a problem! I am 145lbs and bought the medium size up to 160lbs. I was sinking almost a whole foot down into the snow. I am returning for the larger size. So bummed I can't enjoy our first major storm :(

  • Awesome Snowshoes, BUT
Color: Ice Cap Size: 30"
UPDATE: So I had a chance to use the heel lift on an incline while snowshoeing. While they work great and you can actually feel the difference, there is no pull tab on the heel lift itself. This is a problem because once you get to flat land again, unless you have somebody to help you push down on the heel lift, you have to take off the damn shoes just to push down on the platform. I watched a YouTube video where a pair of snowshoes had a pull tab attached to the heel lift lever, and this made it so much simpler when trying to pull up the heel lever, and pull back down. Without an attached pull tab, it is an unsafe/unstable nightmare as a lone hiker. I think I'm going to send these back and find a pair of snowshoes that have a pull tab attached to the heel lever, so I don't have to go through the hassle of having to take my snowshoes off every time I want to use my heel lift. Huge disappointment because I love these snowshoes otherwise. 🙄👎 These are awesome snowshoes! The crampons are great, the heel strap is awesome, the durability in general is wonderful, while the ease of use is fantastic! I tried these out in 13" of snow in some spots, and they never once came off my feet! They just kept goin' and goin'! The decking is durable and the bindings, although stiff due to being new plastic, worked well for now. Over time, I can see the plastic breaking. My only negative is the ratchet. They are cheap plastic with an even cheaper pin that secures the ratchet in place. I can definitely see this not lasting too long, which is a huge bummer for the price point. Why make such a wonderful shoe, then fail on a critical feature 🤷♀️🤔 I will do my best to be careful, but yeah...I shouldn't have to. They should be made with a durable aluminum ratchet for longer durability. I have not had a chance to use the heel lift feature, so I can not comment on the functionality, but I can add that it looks and feels as if it will be reliable when needed. In closing, for under $100, I would buy these again! They give me winter freedom and I love having options when one gets "cabin fever." 👍❤️❄️🎿 ... show more

  • problem with snow build-up in grips while snowshoeing
I DO LIKE THE SNOWSHOE FOR IT'S WEIGHT AND SIZE. I DO NOT LIKE THE SNOWSHOE WHEN SNOWSHOEING BECAUSE THERE WAS SNOW BUILD-UP UNDER NEATH THE ENTIRE TIME ON THE SNOWSHOE AS I WAS SHOEING. IT FELT LIKE I HAD A BIG SNOWBALL THAT I WAS WALKING ON. I TRIED CALLING YOU BUT YOUR MESSAGE LINE IS FULL THAT IS THE MESSAGE I RECEIVED ON MY CALLING YOU LINE. I FOUND THAT WAS A HUGH PROBLEM OF CONCERN. Thank you ! ... show more

  • Great snowshoes!
Color: Superior Blue Size: 25"
I bought these to trek around at Yosemite. They are easy to get on and off, comfortable to use, and lightweight. I hiked in the snow using them for 4 miles and then carried them in my backpack for another 4 miles. Great purchase and I can’t wait to use them again.

  • Good snow shoes
I bought a pair of these for my dad and myself. We climb up in the olympic mountains regularly and there's a lot of snow this time of year. These were great for both of us! Good for the price! Felt secure on our feet and they did not slip while going up and down hills that were steep.
