I was excited for my kids but the og battery died after 15 mins of play and then stopped all together after a week or two what a bummer. This Lithium Iron Battery technology has much better performance than the older N-Cad, AGM and GEL battery technologies it is replacing. In fact, comparing same amp-hour capacity, this battery is lighter, smaller, recharges faster, and can be charged and discharged many times more than these older battery technologies, especially the more common AGM battery, but it is higher priced than an AGM battery. While this battery is advertised for replacing the battery in a kids Hot Wheel car and includes a fused plugin cable to make this change out easier, toss out the plug cable and this battery can replace the batteries in many other high energy using devices. I found it fits perfectly in many of those UPS backup power systems for desktop computers. I have checked three different models and while a little tight inserting, it was a good fit once in place, and provided much more battery capacity and run time than the lower cost battery that typically comes in these backup power units. I found it will also fit in many central station fire alarms, emergency lighting systems, and ham radio backup power supplies. If you need a really good quality replacement battery with the great features of this Lithium Iron Phosphate battery, then this is a great buy when pricing other 15 amp-hour size batteries. There is one issue to address and that is charging. This type battery has a built in electronic battery management system (BMS) due to charging balance and temperature between individual battery cells being more critical, so it requires a slightly lower recharging voltage than a typical AGM or other battery type. However, many newer battery chargers include multiple charging settings and will usually have a setting for a Lithium Iron Phosphate (LIP) battery or may allow manually lowering the charge voltage to no more than 12.8 volts max. Final note, this battery uses a slide on type F2 terminal, and some replacement batteries come with a screw terminal. While it’s easy to change terminal ends on your battery wires, make sure which battery terminal you need or if you will need to modify.

I'll update long term, but first use is impressive. My kid has been driving his 12v power wheels on high speed for an hour. Nearly nonstop. The PW brand lead acid die after 10-15 mins. Note these need to sit on their side, but no issue so far.
