The view, day or night, on this camera is excellent! However, it only picks up motion half the time and we have had to reset it several times over the course of the last four months because it will quit working or stop charging. It was a good price but it does have issues and we have not been able to discern the reasons for them. It could be satellite issues regarding the motion detection problems. ... show more

Bought a cellular PT cam in November of 23, it has never connected right. I reset, restarted and deleted and reinstalled multiple times for it always to not connect or only connect for a minute or 2 before it would lose the live stream. It also would turn the record feature by itself, I repeatedly had to turn the camera recording setting back on for it to not record when I was actually in front of the camera. After all this, I sent a claim to Reolink for a warranty replacement. For the last week and a half I have spoken to, emailed, no less than 4 different people. Each day I was told they would escalate this to the next department for approval. ITS BEEN DIFFERENT 4 DEPARTMENTS!!! The last department is the return department. In ordered to replace a defective camera, I am now being asked to pack it up and send back a broken cam. The entire return or warranty process has been designed to make it hard and difficult and then require you work to help Reolink perform a warranty. Stay away from these guys, they do not stand behind their products! ... show more

So far so good. Camera works really well. You will need a SIM card. I went with the reloadable FLEXIBOOM. Available on AMZ. Operating instructions are minimal. YouTube videos helped a lot. Great customer service.

    • Reolink continues to be solid
I have a few of their other model cameras and their stuff is pretty solid. This one was easy to mount on a power pole outside my house to overlook the back yard. Setup was pretty easy with T-Mobile once I added an internet line and received their SIM card (definitely had to contact their Customer Service). It is 2GB for $15/mo and I have gone nowhere near that yet. I'd imagine only constantly streaming this daily would have you going over. Like their other cameras, the SD card feature is nice to store footage and can hold a good 30+ days I believe on a 64GB card. While the image quality is certainly good, it is not great. If you have to zoom into the image at all on the app, it really breaks a part. Not a whole lot of good there. Would be nice to see a higher quality image in general in case you need to really pinch in and zoom to something small, like predators lurking in the yard killing our chickens! Speaking of the app, it is pretty solid. You can actually share the cameras to a family member via the QR code once you sign-in the app on their phone (Wife and I both keep tabs on the yard and kiddos when away). Nightvision is pretty cool too. We have a very bright city LED street light that really lights up that part of our yard, so we can almost see everything out there like it is daylight. Pan and tilt is good but there's a good bit of delay, same with audio communications....good 2-3 second delay. Overall, I'll continue to purchase their products due to better than average image quality, features, and the very handy, solar-charging feature that does really well (even in MT winters) and is a part of all 4 of my Reolink cams. ... show more

At first it was a bit challenging for us to figure the camera out. It kept glitching and wouldn’t connect properly. After YouTubing some ways to get familiar with it we finally are able to enjoy it. My recommendation is to purchase the EIOT club SIM card and do the trail camera $96 7GB option. So you don’t have to continually keep adding gbts to your plan. Make sure to set it in an open area where the sun really helps it charge. Set your settings to your preferences. We use ours on our property where there is no internet or wifi availability so the SIM card allows it to connect to its WiFi and that is how we are able to see the contractors that come in and out. It also has the option of time lapse so I’m able to see the Timelapse of the construction, I think that’s pretty neat. ... show more
