  • The best of the best! Dump Ring now!
Color: (1) White
I researched high and low and bought various models and brands including RING which is a JOKE, and settled for Reolink which is AMAZING!! Half the cost compared to others, excellent customer service that FOLLOWS UP and if you buy and attach the solar panel, you will have 24/7 365 day coverage and NEVER worry about a shut down. Mine have been sitting in trees the last 9 months with the furthest being just over 40 meters from the router sitting inside the house and connects every time over wifi and the batteries are still showing 100% charged. What you will read the most about with the one star ratings are people saying the wifi connection is bad and no signal. This has nothing to do with the camera and all to do with the users poor wifi set up. They are blaming their poor wifi on the camera!! Far from reality. I own 3 of these and two 5mp wireless too and all of them connect amazingly well. One review said his 2 got water logged after a storm. Not mine, they have been through many storms and still running great. Night vision is acceptable and far better than other 1080p I have seen and the distance is not shabby at around 20 meters in pitch black. The zoom and 350 degree motion is fantastic! I have these in N Cali and operate them from S Cali and the 350 degree motion is flawless AS LONG AS YOU HAVE GOOD WIFI!!! I HIGHLY recommend these cameras and confident when I say there is no better wireless camera for this price or any price I have found! Reolink has a great product here at a great price and great service. I hope they don't take advantage and raise their prices to match the junk that others sell for higher. 3 star for night vision because hey, it's not designed to flood the night, 5 stars for motion detection because it catches me every time and alerts me within seconds (again if you have poor wifi it may not alert you right away so don't blame the camera!) 4 stars for picture quality because hey, there are now 4k cameras but none that are wifi and wireless and if you do find one it will cost you a bloody fortune! 5 star overall rating. Don't waste your time or money looking for anything better than these at any price!. No, I do not work for Reolink or have anything to do with them or received anything free from them. This is an honest personal review. ... show more

  • Excellent Customer Service and Great Video Cameras! Easy to set up and app is very intuitive.
Color: (1) White
I purchased 4 Reolink wireless cameras along with 4 solar panels and am totally satisfied with my purchase. The picture quality is excellent and the cameras can be accessed remotely from my phone. Setting up the cameras was very straight forward and because they are wireless, there is no need to provide a power source or cabling for them. They connected to my home WiFi with no problem and the solar panels keep the cameras charged and running day and night. The cameras only begin recording when it detects motion. The sensitivity of the motion detection can be adjusted through the app as well as how long it will record for. The options are 8 seconds, 15 seconds, and 30 seconds. I have also installed an optional 64 GB memory card in each camera. In addition to the memory cards, I also ordered the optional cloud storage plan. When I tried to bind my cameras to the plan, it came up with an error saying that my cameras were already bound to another account. A few emails to customer service and the problem was resolved in no time. Special shout out to Sylvie in customer service who was the one who helped me and answered my request for assistance within a few hours. Great customer service and great products makes me a satisfied customer! ... show more

  • Not going to do much better for wireless.
Color: (1) White
INSTALLATION: Setup is quite straight forward and simple. Just make sure that you've charged the camera a little before starting. The mounting bracket is a VERY cheap piece of plastic so be careful not to break it. The solar panel's cord is very long at 13'. PICTURE QUALITY: Great high res picture recorded to the onboard micro SD (not included). Streaming this much data though is sometimes quite choppy even when on the same network. There is a lower res option for general reviewing. It is also worth mentioning that the incoming sound is very good but the outgoing only suffices if the person is standing right near the camera. The night vision is quite impressive as well. BATTERY LIFE: Because this camera is battery operated, it only records when there is motion to conserve energy. In my case one cam records about 20 30-second videos and its solar panel gets 4 hours of sun daily and the battery stays between 95 to 100%. The other gets about 6 videos but only about 2 hours of sun but it stays between 92 to 97%. I try very hard not to watch live and recorded video too much and drain the battery. In a worse case, the camera could be taken down and charged inside. SOFTWARE/APPS: The Android app is great. It has live review, talk, PTZ (pan/tilt/zoom), and watch recordings. There are many settings for the cam in the app as well. The biggest drawback is notifications. The cam must be set to record motion in order to get a notification. Also, if you have more than one cam, you cannot get notifications for one and not the other. The Windows software was obviously not developed for this model and so I have abandoned it completely. PTZ: Being able to move the camera is very convenient. Motion is smooth and quick but there is some lag to get used to. Because of the battery constraint, you can only trigger the cam to record with motion. There are unfortunately no position presets so you can only move the cam manually each time. CLOUD STORAGE: The free account is for one camera only and must be renewed every 30 days or your videos will stop uploading. The video quality is OK but certainly not that of the SD card recordings. You get 1GB free to store up to 7 days of video which is way more than enough at such low quality. Video is saved in 8 second segments even if motion continues. Sequential videos will record but there can be a couple seconds lost between them. The bottom line is that I would not rely on the cloud recording alone- install a micro SD card! Considering that I didn't have to run any wires, I'd definitely buy these again. I hope that Reolink continues to improve on this model though. ... show more
