This urn is beautiful. It is a heavy urn, not a lightweight, thin metal one. Urn is pewter with a one inch dark silver band with an ornate design around the bottom, top, and top of screw on lid. There is a cross on the middle of the urn with the same design as described above. Lid screws on very tightly.
