I'm an African American anyway 177 lb and I am 5 feet 3 inches tall. the reason why I let you know that I'm African-American is because my butt is big and I have big thighs. the length of the pants are great since I wear flats to work. the butt area was tight and the thigh area also. but it's supposed to keep you slim. I am always on the hunt for comfortable work pants that are flattering to my figure. I love the color, the cut and style are cute and flattering. Unfortunately, these fell short for me for a few reasons. First of all, size wise these fit as expected and are flattering my to curves. I wear size 8 pants normally and the 8 fit good, except, there is no stretch in the waist band, which I would really expect in a pair of pants with no zipper/button. There is almost no give in the waistband, so it makes it awkward when pulling on over the hips. Second, the material is pretty scratchy. The picture looks like it would be a softer material but it's really more of a stiff polyester. And finally, this is more an issue I have with my shorter stature (5'5") these pants are too long. I would need to get them altered, which, with pants at this price, not really worth it. Again, cute pants, flattering cut...but the comfort just wasn't there for me. ... show more

I 5'8" 165 lbs, 60+ years old, ordinarily wear a size 12 pant with 31 inch inseam. Out of the package, these pants were too small in size 12, so I ordered size 14 instead. Out of the package, size 14 fit just a little too big and about an inch too long. After washing, they are a match for size 12 and length shrank to about 31" . Recommendation: buy one size larger than your typical size and one inch longer inseam than typical. After washing in cool water and cool dryer, they should fit like a size 12, 31 inch inseam pant. Otherwise, love the fit. Mid rise that is truly mid (not something between low and mid rise), and don't sag in the butt and don't balloon out at the thighs. Slightly stretch material works for comfort and fit, has some body to the material even after washing, and length is great for those of us on the taller, longer legged side. My only complaint is that I ordered 4 pair and they are all different lengths (two inches different between them). ... show more

I bought a pair in early April 2017. By the end of April the fabric between the legs showed worn out (See picture). I was disappointed because I really like the comfort and the flexibility of these pants but I can not afford to buy a new pair every month. I work in the restaurant business, I walk around all the time 10,000+ steps at work alone. But these pants couldn't keep up with this life style. Good pants, sad they aren't durable for thigh touching people. ... show more

Poor quality. Material is even fraying at the belt loops as well as the crotch. Washed about 8 times. Too late to return and they are too worn out to wear again. Very disappointed. On a positive note, they fit and look great until the elastic starts to fray.

    • Decent Price for a Decent Pair of Pants, Beware the Sizing Guide

First of all, I want to start by pointing out that their sizing guide is WAY off. Sit down and read the measurements and maybe you'll catch on to what I am saying. After reading several reviews, I settled on size 16, which is what I usually wear. Their size 16 says a mid-higher 30's inch waistline. I measured myself where I wear my waistbands, I measured my widest part, I measured my thinnest part. I'm 43" around. These FIT. They didn't fit because they're stretchy, they fit because I ordered my true size. Many of these "no-name" companies throw wild numbers out there and just compile this haphazard sizing guide with no true research as to what a woman really fits into. That aside, I like the feel of these. They are pretty comfortable, minus how stiff the material is. After washing they DIDN'T shrink, which is a HUGE turn on. They are very black!! They look like dress slacks without actually being them. That's a bonus. The price is very reasonable. My only big disappointment is POCKETS. I need real pockets. They have 'false' pockets...just embellishments where rear and front pockets should be. They come down to my ankles, also a plus, because being 5'9" makes a lot of pants high-waters on me and I wear I with 2 inch wedge heels and they still look great. All in all, order your true size and throw that guide out the window, look dressy without much effort, and be sad when you realize the pockets are nonexistent. ... show more

This is my first shot at trying the yoga pant style work slacks and OH MY STARS THESE ARE INCREDIBLE. I am 5'8, 160 lbs and typically wear size 10 American eagle jeans. The sizing chart dictated to order a size 12. I ordered four different pair of slacks from Rekucci. Amazon accidentally sent one pair in size 8 instead of 12 but I tried them on anyways. Even they fit, but were just a smidge too snug to be professional. These pants go on so easy. They move with you. They don't fall off. They just fit really well. I was afraid of what the material would be but, again, I'm impressed. They look just like a pair of dress slacks, not like a pair of yoga pants or pajamas. Rekucci comfort fit pants will definitely be my new go to for dress slacks. You just can't beat this kind of quality, especially for, what, $33? ... show more
