I bought these because I injured my ankle/top of my foot. These allowed me to tie up higher on my leg without touching the injured part. Worked perfectly. I wear orthopedic insoles and i was even able to wear them with these. This was great as these shoes have no arch support on their own. I have very thin feet. These fit to size and we’re comfortable. No support, but that’s obv by the description. I loved the ankle ties. They were long enough and stayed tied. Especially with swollen ankles from air travel. Dress them up or with shorts. Cute
