After I bought these I noticed the white plastic seals on them and the other reviewers who said they can leak. Most other hoses either have black or green rubber seal. So I was very nervous to use these but since they were 1/3 the cost of other hoses AND have the integrated ball valve I decided to try. Short story is they did work fine. I added 2lbs of R22 to my 4T split. I made sure to use pliers to more than hand tighten and had no issues. The ball valves worked great and are nice to have. Not sure how many cycles they will last, but you can buy replacement seals and upgrade to rubber if needed. So overall a good value. I recommend using Nylog on the threads to improve sealing. ... show more

    • Nylon bushings, low quality
All the seals leak, at both ends due to cheap nylon insert bushings. If you have rubber bushings on hand you will need to replace the nylon seals BEFORE you use these or you are going to lose a lot of money in freon. Not a bad value otherwise but only deserving of 1 star because the company skimped a couple of pennies when manufacturing these then cost you more money for their defects. ... show more
