Currently own an 8" and 6" side zip and both are as reliable and comfortable as the day I bought them. Workday Warriors for Happy Feet Finding the right work boots feels like a never-ending quest. They're either heavy as lead, pinch in all the wrong places, wear out after a few months, or just generally make you dread putting them on in the morning. My job requires me to be on my feet for long stretches, often in environments where safety is paramount. I needed boots that could stand up to the demands of the workday without leaving my feet screaming by the end of it. After trying a few different brands and styles, I landed on the Reebok Work Duty Rapid Response RB8694, and they've become my workday warriors. From the moment I first laced (or, more accurately, zipped) these up, I knew they were different. They felt surprisingly lightweight for a tactical boot, and the fit was immediately comfortable. The extra-wide composite toe is a lifesaver; it provides the necessary protection without feeling cramped or heavy like traditional steel toes. Knowing they offer electrical hazard protection adds another layer of confidence when I'm on the job. The real game-changer for long hours is the comfort system. The removable Foot Force F2A cushioned insert is fantastic – it provides support and absorbs impact, making a huge difference in reducing fatigue by the end of the day. The combination of durable leather and ballistic nylon for the upper has held up incredibly well to daily wear and tear, and the rubber sole provides excellent traction on various surfaces. So I guess this is gonna be a easy review, I've had these boots about a 3 weeks now. Bought and delivered 4-7-23 today is 4-27-23. Simply put, they fit just fine and I ordered true to my size 12w. They are very comfortable. I work on transmission lines, examing storm and waste water lines. Work 4, 14 hour shift, and they hold up. So I'll reccomed for people who do alot of walking or working in a field that will get dirty. Plus they are very light for be a saftey toe. The only down side to them is lack of waterproof. I had to go out and get a waterproof spray to make that happen. Which makes sense seeing as there is nylon on the boots, the lower half is pretty waterproof, top half not so much. So just keep that in mind, other than that, it's a solid pair of work boots. ... show more

I have tried many brands of safety boots over the years. My biggest issue has been room in the toe area. I needed a boot that allowed all day wear in tough environments that would involve climbing over machinery and similar. I decided to give these boots a try and I am very glad I did so. First and foremost they are very comfortable. They flex enough to make climbing around on machines no issue. Due to the various environments I may work in, I wanted a boot versus a safety shoe, so that I had some degree of ankle protection. The cherry on top is that these boots have a side zipper. That way once you get the laces adjusted to how you like, simply zip the side to get in and out, no more adjusting laces. For me that is an issue since I frequently have long drives to the work site, and wear comfortable shoes for the commute then have to deal with putting on the boots in the parking lot, sometimes in the rain or snow. Now not an issue. I typically wear a 10.5 wide to 11 wide shoe depending on make. For safety shoes I usualy go a 1/2 size bigger to allow room for my toes due to safety toe. I was worried when I ordered these as they only had the size 11 wide available in the "Try before buy" option. I decided to order figuring the toe area would be tight and I would need to then re-order the 11.5W but to my surprise the 11W fit awesome. I wore them in the office for a full day to test and my feet felt great at the end of the day, absolutely no crowding in toe are or tightness elsewhere. Great Boot. They are also very light in weight as compared to other safety boots I have had over the years. Well worth the money, which is slightly less than the Ariats or Keens I was considering. ... show more

These are really nice shoes, basically tennis shoes that don’t look like them. Extremely comfortable and an excellent fit. Well constructed, they should last a good while.
