Got the boots today and as soon as I put them on and laced each one up I didn't have to think twice and they were sent with the "try before you buy" deal that I have never took part in but the fit really comfortable. I spent 11 active Army yrs in the military and these put any Gov issued boots to shame. I wear steel toed boots daily and the last pair I had (Caterpillar) wore fairly decent but like clockwork, when the laces started the break I was looking for a new pair. Once that starts the soles crack and the boots just literally go straight down hill. We will see how these hold up. I usually got 6 months from my previous pair and I wore CAT boots for the last couple yrs and about 6 months I'd order another pair. Hopefully these will hold up at least that long. This is my third pair of this model in five years. Not as durable as thoroughgoods but very comfortable. Easy to put my barefoot science full insoles into. Best feature is i can tie them up firm and comfortable then just unzip when i take them off and zip when i put on. Never have to retire them. Laces should be about 4” shorter. Comfortable. Durable. Light weight. and did I mention comfortable? These boots feel more like a sneaker shoe than they do a boot, and when my pair wears out, I am coming straight back to get another pair like these. The only thing that would stop me is if they were no longer in service.

Excellent boots. Lightweight, good ankle support, decent traction, and they look good. Thick tongue, composite toe, and heavy duty zipper. Only thing I'll say that's not positive is the insert they put in is, in my opinion, somewhat inadequate. I replaced them with better insoles, and these boots are now perfect for me. These are the second pair I've owned, and they are durable and long lasting. They're worth the money you'll pay. Highly recommend. ... show more
