  • Returning these and grabbing some Nano 8s instead
Size: 9.5 Color: White/Red/Navy
The Nano 8 was a near perfect shoes for me. I was able to get 18 months out of my last pair using them for training every other day.. Of course when the 9 came out I was eager to try them. The Nano 9 in the same size in the Nano 8 yields a larger toe box and that in turn throws off the sizing. Furthermore, there is an area near the big toe that is a bit abnormal on both feet, something about how the upper is assembled. I also feel these are less stable than the Nano 8 overall. Note that I have had 2 pairs of these in 2 sizes, hoping that the change in size would compensate for the toe box, but it does not, it simply makes the big tow upper area issue more apparent. I'll grab a couple pairs of 8's until the Nano 10 comes out. ... show more

  • Poor quality / construction.
Size: 11 Color: Black
Not impressed with the quality so far. Bought these specifically and only for use with crossfit. We go once a day at lunch. After 23 days of use - total 25 hours of use, the bottom is already peeling off from the heel forward. All indoor work on rubber floors. No rope climbs or crossfit activities that normally tear shoes up, just usual jump rope, 200m runs, etc. ... show more

  • Not for flat footers...
Size: 14 Color: Heritage Navy/Rosette/Sunglow
I’m 6’4 with super flat feet. I used the nano 2s for about 6 months and they felt pretty good minus my feet would start burning during Double Unders. I switched up to the Nike Metcon Frees and I do enjoy those a lot, def comfy enough to run in or heavy squats. I saw good reviews for these and the toe box looked super wide so I waited till the price dropped and went with them. Got them today and they are heavier than both the nano 2s and the metcon frees but nice and wide. Only issue is they are made for someone with a big arch. As soon as I put them on I could tell they wouldn’t work, just basic movements are super uncomfortable due to the arch portion digging into my non existing arch. Unfortunately gonna have to return them. 3 stars because they are super nice looking and nice and wide but just not made for flat footed bigfoots like myself. ... show more

  • Can't beat it; if money is not a factor
Size: 10 Color: Cool Shadow/Cold Grey
Been lifting for years. Started off doing typical bro-building, then powerlifting, then Olympic lifting, and now doing CrossFit. One constant has always been my Chuck Taylors as they are the premier flat lifting shoe. My wife purchased her nano 9's and she was so amazed (also dos crossfit) with them she bought these for me…. Wow. Hands down the best lifting shoes I've ever worn. The stability is essentially perfect with a super flat bottom similar to the chucks. They are much more functional than chucks though. The fit is about perfect; I wouldn't say they run big or small. I wear a 10 in most shoes, and a 10 fit perfectly. They are wide though; which for me is a good thing. If you have notably skinny feet, I'd look into the metcons. I wouldn't advise running more than a mile or two straight in these though; they are too flat. For everything outside of running; A+. But that's too be expected… its not a running shoe. I have no brand loyalty (except for my adipower Olympic shoes). But I can safely say, unbiased, these are the best all-purpose shoes I've ever worn. If money IS a factor, look into the Nano 8's. From what I've heard via word of mouth they are about 90% as good as these and now with these out they are like 50$ cheaper. ... show more

  • Best "do it all" gym shoe available!
Size: 9 Color: White/Red/Navy
Lift, jump, rope climb, gymnastics, calisthenics, HIIT, run (YES, run!), or chill... these shoes do it all! They are extremely well made, the uppers are probably the most durable I have ever owned on an athletic sneaker. They are also extremely breathable with great ventilation for thes high intensity workouts. The toe box is wide and the midsole is stable through the heel which is awesome for weight lifting (squats). The front of the midsole is cushy enough for a comfortable run. The shoes are a little on the heavy side for dedicated running, but thats good for training... when you switch over to dedicated running shoes after training in these, youll fly! Lastly, I love the way they look. Of course looks are of little importance for a performance based shoe like these, but who doesnt like a stylish kick in the gym? Hands down, these are the best general workout shoes I have found... and Ive tried them all including Nobull trainers, Metcon 3-5, etc. ... show more

  • Honestly. Best Nano I've tried.
Size: 11 Color: Cool Shadow/Cold Grey
My favorite Nanos. I've worn 2s, 6s and 8s before. I purchased this and the black and white colorways. Nice blend a cushion and stability. Fitment is: locked in midfoot, and wide toe box. Think Altra fitment, but a Nano.

  • Heel has worn through in less than five months
Size: 9 Color: Black/White/Vivid Orange
There's a trend, where the heels of new shoes wear down to the point where the shoes have to be replaced early. This is especially true if the main purpose of the shoe is to exercise, as in walking and/or running shoes. I can't recall when I first noticed this, but it seems like it's been going on for decades. These Reebok cross trainer shoes are the worst. I bought them in June of 2020, and the heels are pretty much shot in October, less than five months later. I'll have to replace them soon. To be fair, they're comfortable, they look good (to me), and when they were new, they functioned perfectly as walking shoes, which is what I use them for. I walk almost exclusively on city streets, on sidewalks, and if I had reviewed the shoes within the first month that I bought them, I would have given them a four-or-five-star rating. But a few months later, the heels have practically disintegrated (see photos). There's no way I'm going to spend a hundred bucks on a pair of shoes that I have to replace five months later. Bye-bye, Reebok. ... show more
