The color variation is really nice and the quality of the beads was surprising. My 10 year old wanted to start making bracelets to sell and with this kit, a necklace and earrings were able to be made as well! I will warn, for beginners or youngsters, make sure you have someone tie the string well enough because it’s quite the mess to clean up if one of these bad boys breaks. This is well organized and pretty big, especially for the price! Tons of color variations and random little charms. My only complaint is that the lettered pieces were a little disappointing. There was a singular i, no T and I think it might be missing a couple other letters. Pretty slim pickings. You should buy a supplemental bag of letter beads and get crafting! ... show more

I love this kit. It has so many different colors. I have used every color for bracelets and they are all cool and fun to make bracelets with. This is my new hobby because it is just so fun, and I love making them. The extra charms that it comes with are awsome too, but the pearls are kinda big and dont always look great with the beads, but otherwise I like it. They are also each in little plastic packages, so I went to the store and bought a clear container to seperate them. The little scissors also work very good, better than I expected. I'm a beader and I have a niece that wants to too. This is so right!!! First, just the color selection. Also the holes are larger which makes it easier for her to string as well as to teach her. I consider this a fun starter set. Keep in mind these are polymer clay beads. Do your research so you know what you are getting. Same with bead sizes. I have a handy card that shows measurements so there's no" that's smaller/larger than anticipated. I ALWAYS LOOK FOR MEASUREMENTS, then I'm not disappointed. I also paired this with alphabet beads to write names and she can do custom crafts. Must buy...especially for those on a budget. ... show more
