My initial opinion when I unboxed these boots was they were very nice looking, not very heavy and they look like they are made well. When I tried them on, I did notice they do run a bit small even though I ordered a half a size up. I wouldn’t recommend for wide feet. The sole does not have any Flexibility so if that is an issue for you, I would skip these. I can’t say much either for the memory foam that was supposed to be in the foot bed, I don’t feel it. I hope with a thick pair of socks they will be comfortable otherwise, they look nice!

I was searching a while for a Chelsea boot with a lug sole with platform height and a little extra heel. Usually I research shoes and splurge on what I consider a mid-price item, something in the $200 range for boots, and expect them to last several years with moderate care. But I have not been able to find a boot with those parameters in this style, without some kind of gaudy stitching or higher price tag. These boots have a great lift while staying pretty comfortable. They are not leather, but the burnished finish hides that fairly well. The gored opening is not too tight, but it's skinny enough on me to fit within straight leg pants. I usually wear an 8 in sneakers but 7.5 in boots from Thorogood, Solovair, or Doc Marten, and a 7.5 is a comfortable fit for me, wearable with thin business socks or even thicker ones. These boots don't have a special wow factor, but they fit a hole in my wardrobe at a very affordable price on sale ($45). After a few wears, I don't see any creasing or give on the sole that makes me think they'll wear out soon.

Love these boots. I wear a size 9-9.5 but bought these in a 10. I have wide feet and they fit fine. Just need to wear with dress socks. Thick socks will not get your foot in the boot at all. Wish the neck had a little bit more stretch but once you get your foot in, it's fine. They're very comfortable to walk around in and just enough height!

These are super cute but I normally wear a 7.5 and that’s what I ordered. But I wish I’d of gotten a 7 instead. My feet just slip out of them. But for the price I can’t complain. They are light weight, and seem to be durable.
