    • Just the right amount of sound in my opinion.
I think for the budget conscious buyer this product is perfect. It gives my Jeep just enough growl and it isn't over the top loud. It doesn't drone at speed and it's not obnoxiously loud on the high RPMs. The install was very easy. Follow the instructions and it's no problem. Its 3 clamps and 2 hangers. If it's an older Jeep it may be a little hard but I have a fairly new one and it come off pretty easy. Spray some lubricant let set for a few and I had no trouble. ... show more

Was a little difficult to install but that was Jeeps fault not the muffler. Only gave 4 as the black finish is already coming off 1 tip after only 1 year.

Very easy install. I was replacing an aftermarket cheapo I’d installed a few years ago that was rusting away so I didn’t have to fight too much to get the old one loose. 30 minutes tops to get this one in. Sounds nice and looks great. Expect it to outlast the cheapo and possibly even the Jeep.

    • Nice upgrade on a budget.
This muffler is great if you are on a budget. I researched at least 3 comparable models in same price range before I settled on Red Rock. As for install, it was okay, about an hour. My issue with install was that the OEM muffler attachment bracket was rusted away to nothing, I had to use a cutoff tool on the press-fit bolt and score the tail pipe to spray WD40 and pry off the OEM muffler. As for the hangers, if you use a of channel lock wrench and start on the drivers side, they pop right off. Just hit them with WD40 for a day or two as well. After that it fits right on and tightens down. I love the sound on startup and in the low gears as well. Haven’t really noticed the difference in HP or gas mileage, but it sounds better then the OEM one. ... show more

    • Will not fit 2007 jeep JK 2 door.
I bought this because the price was good and it said it fits the 2007 Jeep JK. It's way off and doesn't fit the 07 JK. Don't buy this until they properly fix what year it fits.

    • there is droning sound while driving. It is annoying and I wish there was a solution
I really like the sound and the looks of this exhaust system, it does in fact fit a 2012 Wrangler JK. I could only give it four stars because I do hear the droning coming from the exhaust while driving and understood that that would not be the case.

The alignment tab where the inlet flange is didn’t line up exactly right so I put it on as far as it would go and tightened it good.

    • Almost fits perfectly
The arms are slightly smaller than the original so I had to purchase new hangers to get a better fit, just a small detail
