So I have owned a few of these boots. Sizing is everything with getting the proper fit and break in for these boots. I normally wear a size 12 in shoes but I sized for a 10.5 in my boots. Fit perfect with enough space for my toes to wiggle around the way I like them. Some might say the 10 size would be better but not for my feet. Every foot is different so I would suggest you try to find a local redwing store like I did in Jacksonville FL and the 10.5 fit perfect.

Overall, I really like this boot. Warning! It takes a while to break these things in but, once they are they are pretty comfortable. Part of the problem with break in is they are pretty narrow. I have a wider foot and despite my best efforts I have not been able to find medium or wide pair of these. I think that would have made breaking them in a lot easier. I normally wear a 10.5 and when I first put them on they weren't exactly uncomfortable but definitely snug. When I wore them to work my feet were literally killing me. I couldn't wait to take them off. I'd wear them for short periods around home but they still hurt after months of wearing them. To avoid getting rid of them I put a pair of shoe stretchers in them and literally let them sit for a couple of years and forgot about them. I'm writing this review in 2022. I moved recently and found them again so I figured what they heck, I'll try and see what happens. Low and behold, they actually fit much better. I was able to wear them to work with no pain and while still snug, they aren't painful anymore. Overall I really like these but it would be nice if the wider sizes were readily available. I'm not saying stay away from them if you have a wider foot but be prepared for some serious effort in breaking them in. Now that I can actually wear them I'm pretty happy with them. They are starting to wear well. I got some longer laces to put in them so I wouldn't have to crank them tight and that helped a lot as well. Yes, they are expensive and they did take a long time for me to break them in. Now that they are wearable, I'm actually pretty happy with the purchase.
