ai bought two for my dogs. They are heavily made and the engraving does not wear off, however the pink color on one came completely off and the part of the blue came off the other one. They still work but with no color.

I have bought 4 of these now, 3 Because of a phone number change and 1 for a new dog. These tags are worth the price both dogs like to some how chew on them while on the collar and they never look scratched and are still clear to read. The first 1 before the number change lasted a year of chewing, scratching up against a rabies tag and constant wear but never became scratched or ineligible to read. Tags prior to that lasted a few months at most before becoming scratched and no longer readable. Only complaint is my 2nd order with the same wording just a different phone number caused the engraving to be alittle off the top line looks like it didnt get centered so the first and last letters are cut off alittle. Still readable and not an issue just looks off. Will definitely be buying ONLY these tags for any future needs. ... show more

Unfortunately the size, in diameter, is not listed, only large medium and small. I ordered 2 small tags thinking they would be at least 1" in diameter. The small is 3/4", which is smaller than I wanted and somewhat difficult to read. The product description needs updating. I'm now in possession of 2 small tags that I can't use or return. I gave this one star not for the quality of the product but because the product was not properly represented on Amazon Update: Seller resolved the issue. These are the only tags I will buy. They’re sturdy and the engraving holds up to rubbing agains other tags. The red is brand new and the purple is 3 years old. I found these in a pet store and bought one on a whim and was amazed at the quality. I moved to another state and was happy to find that I could purchase on Amazon.     • Keeping a readable ID tag on my dog

Loved the look of this tag, it seemed like the wire ring to attach to collar was heavier than most I see. After about 8 mo. the rubber protective border ring broke apart and fell off. She continued to wear it and I noticed a couple weeks ago that name and address were getting harder to read. It had now been about 16 mo. from purchase. I found that part of the attachment ring was broken off now it was just a single strand on the ring. I was getting ready to order another one when I noticed yesterday that the tag was gone! Lost somewhere on our farm. I will order another, as I don't see anything on line that would be more sturdy. Price is not bad for a nice tag. ... show more
