These are as good as it gets for caps. Sterile and individually wrapped, unlike most/all of the others I've found on Amazon. It's nice that they fit male and female ends of the luer lock, so you can have a prefilled syringe on the go. Syringe on one side with a needle attached to the other end, without any chance (within reason) of it squirting or leaking in your pocket or elsewhere. Very handy if you ever need a syringe loaded and ready to go, or want to prefill amounts ahead of time in a neat and tidy package. Their only con is their price, they cost 10+ times as much as other caps on a cap-to-dollar ratio, but they're still inexpensive overall, and the best usually comes with a price. ... show more

I build and paint models so I have a few 20mL syringes with glue and paint to get fine detail. These work great to keep everything tidy and neat without drying out. My friend asked if these would work as she instills castor oil into her dog's eye. Used a sterile syringe and catheter to draw up and instill solution, capped with this sterile lock--fits in nicely with the Luer on the syringe. The best part is the catheter and cap fit on the top of the lock. Keeps the syringe contents sterile as well as the catheter, all as one unit. Highly considering using these for saline flushes for camping/hiking trips. YouTube's PrepMedic has some great videos on this application. I will definitely buy again. ... show more
