The rusty burnt orange color is absolutely gorgeous in person — a rich, warm rust tone with a soft velvet sheen that looks far more expensive than the price. I am absolutely in love with this rusty burnt orange velvet coverlet and sham set. The velvet fabric has a beautiful texture and the quilted pattern gives it a very high-end look. It lays nicely on the bed and instantly makes the room feel more cozy and styled. It adds so much warmth and depth to the room without being too bright. One tip that worked great for me: I used king-size pillows inside the full/queen shams. They fit perfectly and give the bed a much fuller, more luxurious look. Color Comparison: I also ordered the caramel gold and olive green versions to compare the colors. Seeing them together really highlights the differences. The caramel gold is a softer warm tone, the rust is deeper and richer, and the olive is a muted earthy green. I ultimately kept the rust because it worked best with my room. I added photos to help show the color in a real room as well as a comparison with the caramel gold and olive green versions. Seeing them together really shows how beautiful these colors are and how well they coordinate. We've had this product about 2 weeks. The color is Stormy Blue. It's been through a wash. It's literally everything I wanted. I do wish it came with sheets but we got an oversized king. It's gorgeous. The feel is fabulous. Literally a dream. We only have this and a sheet set on our bed. We have a 14in Standard King mattress and an 18in high bed frame for reference. It gives enough warmth but also when you have hot flashes it's not terribly hot and very easy to lift off, not heavy (For my perimenopausal women) I am in love with this color! It goes perfectly with the rug in our room, also on Amazon, as well as the stormy art above the bed, sconces, and fig tree. The wallcolor is Cracked Pepper by Behr, a black with navy blue undertone. The white blanket on the bed is not on Amazon. My great great grandma handmade that blanket. Anywho, my husband and I love this and both agree it's the best quilt we've had. It's amazing. Don't hesitate to buy.

BEWARE: if you lay on the velvet top and pillow covers you’ll never get up! We put it on the bed after fluffing it out in the dryer, lay down and fell asleep for an hour. So comfortable! Its ample size fits our very deep king bed as a proper bedspread. It comes to about 2-3” from the floor on both sides. It has perfect stitching and seems quite durable. The box quilting gives it an upscale texture. Though we’ve only had it for a couple of days, It seems like it will last a long time. Quality that you don’t see much these days. I love the beautiful pastel teal color that changes with the quilted dimension. It’s a very grayed pastel and doesn’t stand out in my master bedroom with light gray walls and gray curtains. But I love it anyway, because the room is now a relaxing zen-like retreat.

Have been looking for a bed quilt for literally years. Took a chance on this quilt solely on looks. It has totally lived up to all the 5 star ratings. The "velvet" is what initially worried me but this quilt is very low pile and soooo soft. It is heavy enough to make you comfortable but not so much to make you sweat. Not only does it look high dollar, you will sleep like a baby under it.

Material Quality: Nice. Nice velvet texture and Nice blanket material for the inner side. Weight: I've never bought a quilt but this quilt seems pretty heavy. Bought it for my son's room (who's a hot box). Just in case it may not be warm enough for him, I bought him another light blanket to pull over himself (this blanket drapes over the bed). Thickness: perfect for what I wanted to do. Able to fold the quilt underneath the mattress and it not look bulcky or raise the mattress to high. Size: bought a Queen was perfect. Not too long & Not too short Smell: WASH BEFORE USING. Definitely smell like dye. Color Reflection: it's ok to the natural eye. I thought the velvety texture would reflect off the led lights; nope. Maybe I'll install some led lights around the boarder of the room and tryto capture the affect that way. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Happy i didnt have to stick with black bedding in his room....the blue & gray seems to be a good balance so far, i try to keep my house as bright as possible for mood balancing purposes. Giving this product a 4 out of 5 because idk how warm you'll remain while sleeping (bought it for my son) but I will be redoing my bedding and buying another quilt ☺️
