This is my first time using one of these mats. I'll be honest- I've seen these around on tiktok and kpop shops when it comes to cutting freebies out to give to people. I had no idea the strength would be mean stickiness, I thought it meant how thick and durable the mat would be. Regardless, this thing IS durable. Things I like about this product: -comes with 3 mats -has measurements and grids to make cutting easier -I've used a hand cutter and had no issue breaking through the back -cardstock does peel away easy with no residue Not so great: -paper is hard to remove without accidently folding or bending (I realize now that the strong does not mean suitable for all. Figured I would say something for new mat buyers like myself) Overall- I still think this a 5 star product because it is durable and does what it is intended to do. I do not yet own a cricket, but hopefully I can update my review soon once I do. ... show more

I also use them as a second set of hands on tabletop when applying embellishments or stamps and I don't want my card to shift.     • A bit too sticky?

I got the Light stickiness and it was still too sticky, curly the pages as I lifted them off. I'd hate to see how sticky the Strong ones are! That said, if you do have suitably thick material this might be alright.

I found the grip with the “standard” to be pretty strong especially when comparing it to another mat I own. I used it when cutting some vinyl and some of the paper backing actually stuck and peeled off onto the mat, though this may have also been related to the vinyl. Needless to say, it sticks great. The board is pretty stiff and does hold things flat. Beyond just using this with Cricut Joy, you can use these mats to hold down projects when weeding or doing other intricate works with small pieces. ... show more
