A friend gave me an old Silhouette Cameo with no supplies to try out. These mats worked right away, easy to use, and adhesive was just tacky enough. I can’t compare to the official Silhouette mats, but I’m definitely happy and expect to use these for a long while.

These mats are great for the price. I have other brands that work just as good for the price. So if you craft a lot this is a great deal. If you craft occasionally spring for a more expensive brand they work for longer.

Even the light stick mat is REALLY sticky, enough that it totally ripped up my sticker sheets on first try. If you spend 10 minutes pressing a shirt or paper towels all over the surface, you will reduce the tackiness enough that it becomes useable. Works then, but just be aware!

We have an Etsy sticker shop and we use a silhouette cameo 4. The original mat was WAY too sticky for stickers. It was bad enough that stickers would refuse to come off and rip out the backing or have adhesive on the backing. To alleviate that, I had to make the original mat less sticky using a shirt. This mat (LightGrip) though? Perfect right from opening. My stickers come off cleanly with no rips and the backing intact, there's some SLIGHT stickiness in the back, rubbing my thumb on it makes it go away. Perfect mats for our purpose.
