It is very attractive and functional. The minor complaint I have is that I wish the flame can go higher than the maximum which to me is still a little not high enough.

This set was a perfect replacement for the gas log set that was in our house when we bought it. The one we replace had a modified fan and grate that created a ton of soot. The original logs were actually Real Fyre as I discovered when I pulled them so I looked them up and got the proper configuration to use in another property. I replaced the entire gas assembly and all with this kit. It took about an hour and a half with the soot clean up to install. Everthing was included except the main shut off valve which I purchased separately. Having the remote is a major plus. Installation is really straight forward and can easily be done by a novice handy person. If you check the gas connection with a soap solution (available for this exact purpose at any home improvement store) it's a sinch. Great directions, easy to follow. Pilot flame is a little loud when it first shuts down after use but quiets down after the controller settles out after a couple minutes. I thought it was a little pricey at first but I wanted a complete unit with a remote from a reputable tested company. No more soot build up! Well worth the price in my opinion, we have this installed in our bedroom to keep it toasty and are able to turn the thermostat down for the rest of the house. I recommend this product. ... show more

We had a bit of confusion as the manual to install was not included in the box ... and when the professionals arrived to install they had nothing to go by. So something was wrong as you could see the #3 log and you shouldn't ... I emailed customer service and I will say their response time was amazing and they were very apologetic ... they have been awesome in a world where customer service isn't always great. So I did figure out how to rearrange the logs in the proper way once they sent me the manual. I LOVE THESE LOGS! The price is a great price and they look amazing .. warm the entire front of my house. The only negative I would say is that the sound, the "hum" of the working unit is louder than I would have liked ... I kind of wanted no noise really. All in all I recommend this product for sure, and great customer service! ... show more

I bought this product in 2020 and had my licensed plumber install it in my Airbnb. A month later, I bought the same product to install in a second fireplace in the same Airbnb. This hasn't been turned on until recently and it's leaking gas. My licensed plumber says it's defective and could cause an explosion. I paid $1,200 for a product that should be safe. ... show more
