  • ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 – Flawless Finish Every Time!
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
I absolutely love the Real Techniques Bubble Blending Makeup Brush! The bristles are incredibly soft yet dense, making it perfect for applying and blending my foundation, cream blush, and even setting powder. The bubble shape gives me smooth, streak-free coverage in just a few swipes — it’s like an airbrush finish without the fuss. It picks up product well without absorbing too much, and it doesn’t leave any patchiness or brush lines. I’ve also washed it a few times and it holds up perfectly — no shedding, no fraying, and it dries quickly. The handle is comfortable to hold and the brush feels high quality, especially for the price. It works great with both liquid and cream products, and I love that it’s cruelty-free and vegan. If you’re looking for a versatile, affordable, and dependable blending brush, this one is a total win. I’d recommend it to beginners and makeup pros alike! ... show more

  • Favorite blending brush!
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
This brush easily became my favorite blending brush. This brand shows that you don’t need to spend a lot to get a durable and high-quality makeup brush. This brush rivals any of the highest Price makeup brushes. The dome shape of the brush, the size and the softness of the bristles make it superior for makeup blending. I use it every day and highly recommend this brush in particular and anything from this brand. It makes makeup application so easy. ... show more

  • great high quality brush
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
excellent. i would say the quality is up there with the higher end brands. applies foundation beautifully, no streaks. i also have the Saie big brush and this preforms identically, i almost prefer this one. definitely don’t use Cinema Secrets to wash though. it’s too dense, it needs an actual brush shampoo. overall, this is an amazingly high quality brush for a fraction of the price. ... show more

  • Excellent Quality
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
This is a great brush. The bristles are soft and dense, but not so dense that they are packed in or stiff. The color of the handle is bet pretty, and I love the flat bottom, because I can store it upright in my makeup drawer. Great price, too!

  • Favorite dense bronzer brush
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
The Real Techniques Bubble Blending Makeup Brush is honestly amazing. I use it with my Saie Sun Melt cream bronzer, and if you’ve ever used that kind of product, you know you need a dense, firm brush to really blend it out properly—and this one does the job perfectly. I genuinely think it’s a dupe for the Saie blending brush. If anything, it performs just as well, if not better. And I’m a strong believer that you really don’t need to spend a lot of money to get good makeup brushes or tools—this brush proves that. I already trust the Real Techniques brand a lot. Almost all of my brushes and sponges are from them, and they never really miss. This brush is no exception. It’s super easy to use and makes blending cream products really smooth and effortless. The only thing to keep in mind is that it is a pretty large brush. Because of that, it’s not meant for super precise application—it’s more for an all-over blended look. For me, it works best when I place the product on my skin first and then blend it out. If you pick up a lot of product directly on the brush, it can get a little messy and spread more than you want. But that’s not really a flaw, just something to use it the right way for. Overall, it’s perfect for quick blending, soft bronzer looks, or even a bold, “chunky” blush or bronzer moment. I really love it and definitely recommend it. ... show more

  • Great brush but some considerations
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
I’m getting ready to go on vacation and I typically only fly with a carry on. I wanted to find a good multifunctional brush for my bag. This will work for me, and the quality seems great. I’m giving it four stars and not five for a couple of reasons: I have this same type of brush from RT in the full-length and it is not nearly as wide/round. When packing a tiny makeup bag of essentials this might be too chunky for some people. ... show more

  • Great for powder foundation, loose powder- super soft but compact bristles.
Style: Bubble Blending Makeup Brush
I needed an inexpensive but sturdy brush for applying powder foundation and sheer powder. I liked the particular size and structure of this brush. Also, I had worked with Real Techniques brushes in the past, and found them to be reliable and long-lasting. I needed a brush with a flat bottom that I could stand up in a container on my desk, and this one has a flat bottom. This brush is very stable when placed onto a flat surface. All new makeup brushes usually shed a bit when they are new, but this one did not. The bristles are nice and compact, so the the brush holds a good deal of product. There are a ton of bristles, and they are very soft. The bristles are nicely trimmed. The bristles have been shaped into a kind of a gentle dome. This brush feels very luxe for its price point, and I can tell it is going to last a long time. The bristles are artificial, but again they are super soft. In my years of working with cosmetics, I've used some fairly high-end natural bristle makeup brushes. This Bubble Blending Brush is performing just as well as some of the three-figure natural bristle powder brushes I used back in the 90s. The density of the bristles does mean this brush is going to grab and hold on to a lot of product, so be sure to tap the brush, especially after dipping it into loose powder, unless you want to deposit a lot of powder onto an area of your face. The only complaint I have about this brush is that it doesn't come with any kind of hard cover that snaps over it to protect it. I looked for a brush with one of those, but the ones I found looked pretty lacking in quality. I'd rather have a brush that performs beautifully, like this one, and forget about it not having some kind of protective cover. The brush's construction seems sturdy. I'm going to be careful not to let water get down into the ferrule- the metal collar that holds the bristles in the brush handle- because with any makeup brushes, but especially these kind, excess water down in the ferrule will cause the glue holding the brush head to break down over time. (This isn't specific to this brand of makeup brush- this will happen with any brush.) When this happens, the glue slowly begins to dissolve away, and the entire brush head of bristles can eventually fall out in one clump. I've had this happen, and glued the clump of bristles back in successfully in a pinch- but it's just better to not have this happen. It's not easy when cleaning makeup brushes to not get at least some water into the ferrules, but the less water that gets in there, the better, to make sure you don't lose your brush head after letting water reach the glue. This is why, after washing your makeup brushes, you should always lay them down flat to dry, preferably with the bristle end hanging over the edge of a sink or desk or table, so the maximum amount of air can get into the ferrule and get rid of the maximum amount of moisture. I also learned this trick from one of my painting professors at art college. Pack your brushes' wet bristles with inexpensive hair conditioner after washing them at least once a month, and leave them sitting for a couple of hours. Then rinse them thoroughly. Even artificial bristle brushes benefit from this little boost of moisture being put into their bristles. It helps to extend the life of your brushes. I thought it was silly when he told me about it, but I tried it, and it does make a difference. The other nice thing about these Real Techniques brushes is that if something happens to it, these brushes don't cost an arm and a leg, and are easy to find if I need to replace this brush. So while this brush might not be a high-end Japanese whatever brand handmade makeup brush, it performs beautifully, and I am very glad I chose to buy it. If I need to replace it, I know I can head over to Amazon and re-order this brush. It's easy to use, and makes application a breeze. I just whisk it across a pan of powder foundation, buff it around my face, and I'm ready to go. Or, if I want to use it with translucent loose powder, it works great for that as well. I have other brushes for contouring, but it would work for that purpose, and would be great for blush application as well. This brush is a sort of "Goldilocks" size- not too small or too big, and that makes it versatile. Looking down onto the top of the brush, across the bristles, it measures about 1 1/2 inches, and the bristles measure about 1 inch high above the ferrule. The brush head is about 1 3/4 of an inch wide. This sounds like it might be on the large size, but its compact build makes it easy to control, whereas smaller makeup brushes, if their bristles are not as dense, the bristles will "spray" powder everywhere, and make application more random and streaky. If there are any performance or condition issues that come up with the brush, I will update this review. But after using it for some time, I am very happy with this brush, and recommend it, and would definitely purchase it again. For its price, it's a fantastic brush. ... show more
