So, I just noticed when skimming the product page just now that it does indeed say the sponge will be a random color, but unfortunately that was not the impression I got when I read the title, looked at the images, and skimmed the description. I should have been more thorough, but I also think they could have made it more obvious that you might end up with a different color than what is shown in the main product images. I was really wanting a neutral colored brush and am not thrilled that I got a lime green one. That minor issue aside, this is a great set! The brushes and sponge feel like they are high quality and the Kabuki brush even comes with its own plastic case. I love the brushes and think the price of this set makes if a great deal! I liked this product overall and felt like it is a good simple set for traveling. The quality is nice, compact, and cute. I liked how the small brush came with a little clear plastic case. I do wish that the beauty blender was pink as shown on the box as opposed to a random color. Overall, I am satisfied with this item though and how it works. I would say it isn't anything better than regular make up brushes though so if you buy this it may be more like if you just want it for the appearance or maybe traveling as it is the same as most other brushes. ... show more

I’m not a beauty influencer and rarely wear makeup, but when I do, I strive for a very even looking foundation application. And I think this set would do the trick! The only reason I gave it a 4 star versus 5, is because the blender is a different color than it was supposed to be.

Wow! I am thoroughly impressed with this three piece set! At this price point, I would not expect much in quality, but this kit delivers! The dual ended brush is soft, dense and there is zero shedding. It is a little smaller than expected, but it just makes it easier to control. The larger end is great for powder while the small size is perfect for concealer. The kabuki brush with its soft bristles, made applying liquid foundation fast and easy. The shape of the brush handle makes it easy to grip. The case it comes with is such an added bonus too! And who doesn't love a make up sponge?! I love the Real Perfection Makeup Brushes Set! I've been especially fond of the dual-sided blush-concealer brush. It has a thick bristled blush brush that I've used as a foundation brush AND a blush brush. The concealer brush on the other end is also very thick, and pats down my concealer quite well. I've been able to smooth out my concealer so that it doesn't crease as much. I also like the sponge. It has one flat side, which I haven't used on a sponge before. It makes sharper angles easier to navigate; I've been able to dab luminizer in the bow on my lips, and I can also maneuver into the corner of my eyes. The huge kabuki brush, for foundation, is terrific for big jobs. I use it for foundation, and occasionally for lightly brushing bronzer on my face. I am enjoying using all of these brushes. I'm keeping them clean by shampooing them and air-drying them. Highly recommended. ... show more

I search and search for a double-ended foundation and concealer brush from department to drug stores. It is such a useful tool for me to have because I have a job that requires a lot of travel! This one looked great from the product photo and description that it was synthetic and cruelty free. I was shocked that for the price, this set is comparable in feel and performance to my IT Cosmetic brushes that are known for being the softest mid-priced luxury brushes. The brushes apply product evenly and without streaking and clean easily. The kabuki brush has been great for my body bronzer application and is equally as soft and delivers product evenly. Exactly as described and then some, I was pleasantly surprised at the quality. I would have to say, being a makeup user of over 50 years, these are the same quality if not better than some that you obtain at Ulta (especially the IT brand), for 1/4 of the cost. I was truly impressed with the clam shell covering of the hexagon brush and the dual ended brush. I would highly suggest this as a cost effective alternative to many higher priced brushes and sponges. These will be getting a lot of use! ... show more

The media could not be loaded. Is this set worth $15? I think so! I only use liquid foundation so that’s what this review will be based on. I dot the foundation on with my fingers and use my fingers to distribute around my face by dotting, not smearing/rubbing. I then take the kabuki brush and finish blending out all over my face. I find the brush to be very soft on my face, not harsh and dragging at all. It is very compact so I don’t feel that it’s soaks up any foundation at all. It leaves no brush streaks or loosened bristles on my face. I then dampen the sponge to use for my eye concealer and finish with the buffing brush to apply setting powder in my tea zone. The smallest brush has been good for nose contour. I have no complaints over this set. Although, I was expecting a pink sponge and not green, it is easier to see the make up on the sponge with it being green. The kabuki brush comes with a nice plastic container (watch your nails when opening this case) for storing. The brushes and the sponge seem to wash up nice and I have not experienced fall out with the bristles. Would make a great gift and highly recommend. ... show more
