  • Affordable and gets the job done Affordable and gets the job done
I’ve had this kit installed on my truck for a several months now without any issues! Install was quick and easy and was able to do it in my garage. I’d recommend a quality wall mounted spring compressor due to the preload required on the front springs to install the billet spacer. If your looking for a nice affordable lift to fit bigger tires this is it. Although the directions stated not to pair this with other components I switched the shocks with bilstein to add better dampening and rebound. Also I’d like to add there was trimming involved but this is because I didn’t want to use the recommended offset wheels. I do believe if the recommended offset is use everything will clear. ... show more

  • Good service, resposible seller. bad Product... not seller's fault
I installed this 3.5" SST Lift Kit on my 2021 GMC Canyon AT4, and while everything was installed correctly, the problem is the TOP hat that Readylift included on this kit, That has to be the worst design ever, but not only did the top hat overly compressed the OEM coil spring (per their own note, 3/4" extra) making the ride, stiff, over-extending the OEM Strut and ignoring several other bad reviews about broken struts. I called a few times and asked about the issue... no help. seems not even their tech support knows how to fix that, and they make it clear in their own words "Do not use aftermarket struts" This kit was designed to be used with OEM components. I very much doubt that. the issue again is that the strut is over-extended forcing the coil to over-compress an extra 0.75" inches, it creates a dangerous situation that can make the strut shaft fatigue and break. It leaves your suspension stiff, not rebound, and with any small bump you can feel the strut Top-out due to over-extending. I do not understand why not make the top hat 0.75" shorter to alleviate this issue or recommend a shorter coil or longer strut. either way, the kit is unusable. (parts of) I have asked several 4x4 shops in my area, and "ALL" told me their customers usually scrap this kit and upgrade to a different brand. I am not going to waste money, as I am going to try to salvage what I can, I will keep the Upper control arms, swaybar relocation bracket, and front differential spacers, but I have ordered RC 2" Loaded Struts and a 0.5" level kit spacers. so I can get a total lift of about 2.5-2.75" front lift, using a new fully assembled coil/strut made for lifting 2" (as it has a longer strut) this is also because my truck ended higher in the front that on the rear, before measurements from the floor to the edge of the fender lip were Front L 25.2"/Front R 25.5" and Rear L 27.1"/Rear R 27.3", now after the lift Front L 29"/Front R 29.1 and Rear L 28"/Rear R 28.2", I do not know if ReadyLift screwup or GM changed specs on the 2021-2022 models of the Canyon/Colorado, but the 1" spacer leaves a sagging rear. I am hoping after my RC 2" Loaded Struts and the 0.5" Level kit I will achieve about 2.5-2.75" Front lift that will leave the Front about 28"+/- and level with the rear while regaining my near OEM ride quality. I will save the ReadyLift Top hat, to experiment with in the future if I decide to lift the front more; my other idea is to order Eibach Pro truck struts and shocks, those are made to ride level or up to 3" extra, allowing me to dial how much the top hat compress the OEM coil. I am doing more research with Eibach regarding the total length of the strut, but it seems it might work. technically the strut needs to be 0.75"+ longer to correct the over-compression of the coil. Now I have to do the work of re-designing my own lift kit without ReadyLift's help. I hope some of this information is taken by ReadyLift to fix their kit and not just ignored as another bad review. Unfortunately, ReadyLift tech support is lacking, they do not know their own product or care to help, if they care they would investigate the safety issue its own hardware is creating and either redesign it or stop selling it. help their existing customers and save their name, but when I bought it I was under the impression ReadyLift was a reputable company... man was I wrong. ... show more

  • Great kit
Great bolt on kit brought the front end up just enough for me. Truck is leveled out nice no sacrifice in handling. To be honest I don’t notice the height difference unless I’m nose to nose with a stock Colorado. It didn’t change tailgate height or trailer hitch height even with the 1” rear lift blocks not that I can notice but that’s also a plus for getting things in and out of the bed. Full day to install but I did front and rear brakes and rotors while it was apart. For the money it’s a real value and I can’t say enough about the dom upper control arms way beefier than the stock stamped steel arms. ... show more

  • Great Lift but tedious to install
The lift itself is great and the parts are extremely affordable, as well as better than the factory support arms and hardware. Even though, I'm a licensed helicopter mechanic and worked on cars for years, as well as have enermous amounts of tools and garage space. It took forever to install. This is defenitly not a day job. I was able to install this lift in 6 hours. But for a regular person it will most likely take them up to two days. The studs for the upper strut mount are too short and the locking nuts for the mounting points are too short. I paired these up with some ranchero shock absorbers. Which i highly recommend. As the factory struts are not designed for such performances! My personal recommendation is to bring it to a shop and pay them to install it, if you only worked on cars or trucks a handful of times. This is not your average lift install. Also it is important to retorque the hardware (all of it) after 200-300 miles. The same goes for your lug nuts and center hub nut. Couple things to note: - Install takes roughly 6 to 7 hours for just the front. - Instructions are a bit unclear about the differential spacers and alignment. - Strut Springs have to be compressed beyond the maximum allowance. - Compressing the struts with a "widow maker" is dangerous and the only way to do it if you're a private person. ... show more

  • Easy to install, Rubs like no tomorrow
Totally loved the install, straight forward and intuitive. Used recommend tire size and offset. So far it has cost me over $ 485 to eliminate all the spots that rub. Don't let anyone sell you on that line that this set up won't rub on your fenders and frame if you use ready lifts tire and rim recommendations ... show more

  • Do not buy
Terrible lift. Spacer will not work on an oem shock. Even the mechanic shops couldn't get the coil to compress enough for it to fit. Absolutely waste of money

  • great lift for the price....
I purchased this lift for a little over $600. Great deal on Amazon....I was then quitted a price of $1300 by a local shop to put it on....My son and I install it in a little over 6 hours. A spring compressor is a must. Nothing was missing in the box as warned by other amazon shoppers....worked it great for us... ... show more
