  • Works well and easy to use
This is a great tool to use when moving larger objects. This will definitely save your arms and shoulders. Just make sure you and partner push against what you’re moving to keep stabilized. Just watch the video and see how easily it is to use.

  • Handy tool to have when moving
This product was good to help move large heavy items, but you have to practically kneel on the ground to tighten the strap when lifting. I had two men who were different heights and it became an issue. They said it was awesome for moving the couch and a few other items. But overall because of the height difference, they prefer to just carry the items without using the straps. It was definitely worth the money and we will use it again in the future for moving other items in the household. ... show more

  • For Occasional Use As It Requires Some Skills To Fully Use All Day Long Which Can Be Tiring
- Tried moving a small piano to no avail. Was able to stand it width wise up and use an ordinary hand truck with straps balancing carefully even up a ramp. - One size fits all so did not fit well on the body - The straps should be wider for better support - Requires two person about the same size and strength on both sides - Difficult while negotiating stairs as most items will slide and bottom out on the person below. If there is a landing with 180 degrees, mattresses and larger dressers are a bear to keep off the rails and walls. Would like to give it a four star but I think there are other brands with better design that will work better - Good for smaller items but that could be done quickly also with a hand truck - Occasional use only or will tire you out balancing items during a full days move ... show more

  • So glad I got this
Really helps you carry heavy furniture. Rather than all the weight resting on my fingers and pulling down my little noodle arms, I’m lifting with my legs and the weight is distributed evenly across my center of gravity. Straps are comfortable and easy to use! Even worked carrying weirdly balanced things like this standing desk ! Squatting down and bringing your body close to the floor while you tighten your straps helps get the best result. ... show more

  • Works way better than the Forearm Forklift!
First and foremost this product does not change how much weight you will have to lift! Their is no added mechanical advantage when using this product. The weight of the lifted object will be evenly distributed between the two lifters EXCEPT when both lifters are not at the same level (ie stairs). While lifting objects up and down stairs the person on the higher step will most likely have to bear most of the load unless the bottom person uses their hands. That being said, I would still highly recommend this product because it helps anyone (from the guy who has never deadlifted to the body builder of the year) to keep good lifting form throughout the entire move. All the weight is placed on your shoulders close to your body so you can lift using only your legs while keeping your back in a neutral isotonic non-jerking position. An added bonus is that your hands are left free from carrying the load so you can control the object with ease using both arms. You cannot do this with the Forearm Forklift! Also a good thing to know is make sure that the strap is placed as close to the center as you can so your object doesn't tip over when you lift up for the first time. This product is especially nice to use while carrying awkward and heavy objects that don't have good spots to grip at waist height (ie refrigerator, dressers, recliner couches ect). ... show more

  • Team Work
I had two teenage boys helping me move and they thanked me for ordering the Ready Lifter. They found it best when moving the mattresses and box springs, since there are no handles on these. Queen and king beds are awkward to lift and carry, but the Ready Lifter makes moving them easy. They also found it very useful on moving the sectional sofa. Very easy to lift and maneuver in and out of the doors. The boys liked working as a team squatting, lifting and carrying. There was a minor issue and that is if you are a big guy. You put the harness on like putting on a tee shirt and the X part of the strap should be at the middle of your back. Problem is the bottom part is not wide enough. I'm 6'5", 320lbs and it was hard getting it on, much less getting it off! I was able to put the harness over my arms with the X in the front. I tried it out moving one of the mattresses and a dresser and agreeing with the teens, made it very easy to lift and move. We all found it very useful on moving mattresses, dressers and sofas. ... show more
