It was time to get some travel reading classes to take on trips. The ones I had were aggravating me. I like these because of the sturdy carrying case. The quality appears to be good - lenses, frame, all of it seems to be sturdy and functional.

After paying several hundred dollars for a pair of prescription glasses for both distance and reading, as well as a couple of pairs of "dollar store" readers that didn't last long, I thought I would try Amazon. I have never purchased glasses online before without the benefit of trying them on first, so I ordered several different pairs to compare, and I returned all of them except for these from Success Eyewear, either because the others had frames that were flimsy or too tight, or the lenses were the wrong strength or distorted. But these glasses from Success Eyewear are good for the price. The frames are sturdy, and the lenses are clear. They are a little thicker than others I have bought, but that's to be expected with plastic lenses. Even so, there's no distortion with these, which makes them good for computer use at work, and everyday reading. They are lightweight and stylish, and are becoming my "go-to" glasses. I received two pairs (black and brown), which I like because I can keep one pair at work and one at home, or in my car so that I always have a pair with me. I wish I could give the cases a good review as well, but honestly, they could be better. The design is good, with a spring-loaded hinge and felt type material on the inside. But they are entirely too small for the glasses. When I took each pair out of the case, the finish on the top of both pairs was already scratched from being forced into the cases. Don't get me wrong, they do exactly what they are designed to do....they protect the glasses. But that is only because there is absolutely no room for the glasses to move around inside. But the felt is only on the side next to the "arms" of the frames, while the lenses are rubbing the hard plastic case, and they don't fit any other way. I want to like these cases because they are slim and look good. But I think they would be better if they were just a little larger. All in all, a good value for the price. If the cases were as good as the glasses, I would have given 5 stars. With that said, I will likely purchase these again.

I am constantly losing my reading glasses or breaking them. I have bought at least 10 pairs this year alone, so I was hesitant about buying two more, especially when you can get them at the dollar store for a dollar. However, after purchasing these glasses and seeing how they stand up to constant use, I will never buy from another store again. The glasses are very stiry and well made, and the black and brown colors are fashionable. Lenses are actually lenses and not cheap plastic. But the best thing about them, is they come with 2 hard cases which are very slim and able to be put into any pocket without major bulk, especially jeans. That alone is worth double the price. These are the only glasses I use now and I'm going to be purchasing even more pairs so I can have one in every vehicle, purse, coat, desktop, and work location.

I like the glasses. Had a bit of a challenge getting them as they were delivered to my neighbors by mistake. After I looked like a package thief and retrieved them from my neighbor's porch. They had been there since last night. Once I finally was able to unpack them, I like the case and the glasses. They look very nice. the cases are nice, but the glasses do not fit well. In fact, i can see them damaging the lenses if I tried to get them back in the case. So, they are two pairs of glasses with two cases that you probably shouldn't use? Other than that they appear really nice, maybe I can use the cases for some other reading glasses?

The cases are not quite as sturdy as I had hoped for but overall these are good glasses. I travel quite a bit and was looking for something that would handle being in a laptop bag or overnight bag. We'll see how the cases hold up.
