Description

Most RDS transfer tanks also provide auxiliary fueling. RDS offers a full assortment of tanks in various capacities and dimensions to fit your needs. Auxiliary tanks connect to your vehicle’s fuel tank. Diesel fuel can “gravity feed” from the bottom of your RDS tank. An optional Diesel Install Kit contains the necessary items to economically and easily connect your RDS tank to your OEM fuel tank. Gasoline auxiliary fueling is allowed, if siphoned from the top of the tank by using an electric fuel pump.

    • Good auxillary tank. Few minor issues
Tank arrived in cardboard box, which really only kept it from getting scratched. No damages, dinks, or dents. Installed easily using recommended RDS Diesel Install Kit. Had to grind down and adjust the two small rods on the tool box cover that engage the latches. They were too long and hit the box edge. Not a major issue, more of an inconvenience, but quality is all about the details. The vent will spit diesel periodically when the tank is full and making turns. I solved this issue but connect an 18" hose to the vent and then running up and around in the fuel filler compartment. The hose catches the fuel and then slowly drains it back into the tank thru the vent. Overall, very satisfied with the delivery, design, and function of the tank. The extra 60 gallons will really extend my travel distances between fuel stops while pulling my fifth wheel trailer. ... show more

    • Arrived quick but beat up
Tank showed up quick which was nice seeing as the lead time was 40 days or more from manufacturer. But the box was beat up … the led was broken and badly dented. Will get it welded up before install but for the amount of money you think they could have shipped it just a little better

nice tank no leaks so far, but the most i got in it is 51 gal, 15% less than advertised that is not acceptable i dont see how you guys get away with that. update i refueled and come to find out i had a vapor look. i finally got a total of 57 gal in it, tank still no leak and i am happy with my purchase ... show more

It took almost two weeks to get delivered to Cal., but was delivered in excel. cond. right to my door. Was very easy to install with optional fuel line kit. Love the tool box and the extra fuel range. Very happy so far.

If I had of known they were going to short change me, I’d of bought somewhere else. They tell me gas is staying in the tank as the drain is on the side which if that was it, isn’t good As you constantly have OLD gas BUT the drain is on the very bottom. If I can’t use the gas that’s supposedly left in the tank and I have to fill up and I can only put 35 gallons in a 60 gallon tank WHAT IS THE USE OF HAVING A 60 GALLON TANK????? My loose expectations before buying was 900 miles between my fill ups now it’s actually 650 in reality. WHAT A RIP-OFF!!!! ... show more
