The sloth was adorable, but because it has long hair it was shedding too much, I had to return it. My baby always has his hands in his mouth so as soon as he touched the sloth, his hands were covered in hair, definitely not ok. I am going to try the elephant since it doesn't have long hair. Also, this pacifier design doesn't work for him, i don't understand how it's supposed to stay in his mouth when he's not actively suckling it, it just falls right out. The MAM brand pacifiers can be used with this, just get the ones that come with the pacifier clip
