Originally gave this a higher review because it initially worked great. But after using it for a couple of months, several rows of the LEDs just stopped working leaving blank lines in the display making it unusable. Too much time passed to return it, so it went into the trash. UPDATE: Within 24 hours of my above review, the seller reached out to offer a resolution to my dissatisfaction with this product. Since I have no need for a replacement unit and I have no expectation of a refund, I declined their offer. However, I respect businesses that respond to their reviews. While I wouldn't buy this product again, I would buy from this seller again. (Rating changed from 2 stats to 4 based on the seller's customer service.) ... show more

I didn't buy this for the car. I had an old frame kicking around the house and it was just a little wider than this thing, maybe an extra 2 inches. I took some removable 2-sided tape that I bought & pinned the corners of this & put this on top of the glass. Really, if I'd had a way to have placed this between the backing of the frame & the glass, it would have been perfect, but I found no way to work the wiring without damaging the frame. Then I put the logo of the organization above that on a 24 x 24 piece of paper inside the frame. Then I programmed the sign for the organization - just a couple of things and presented it to the organization's leader after I plugged it into a phone battery. What a HIT!! The entire group loved this! Such a hit that I had to supply the link for it to him for another project he works on and also to another member who saw the potential for his organization. It's definitely an attention-getter and I love that you can roll it up for easy traveling so there are a myriad of uses for it, rather than having to store it away for the next "big event". Fairly certain others will want to know where it was purchased & want one for themselves. Way to go - awesome product!! ... show more

I am an Uber driver and just added Lyft. I purchased this item so I could add an easy vehicle identifier. The box contained a 6”x3” rectangle for LED light display connected to a 5.5” corded dual-prong A/C adapter. The usb cable is very long with power switch at both ends. The box also contains a thin coil of flexible dual-sided clear adhesive as well as instructions. Per the instructions, I installed an app called CoolLED1248. It was easy to create your own message but I ended up choosing one of the many pre-made displays. One great feature of the app is the ability to adjust the brightness! The default is very bright. This led matrix is honestly pretty good. The app could use a liiiitle work but after you know what you're doing it's pretty usable. The matrix itself is pretty sturdy even though it's flexible. It is under considerable stress in my mask but it still works very well. Only gripe I have is that the 3M double sided tape that comes with it is a little hard to separate from its red plastic cover. but thats nit picky and the shop owners have already told me that they are going to ask the manufacturer if there's a better option. It also had an extremely long cable which is awesome and it has 2 sets of switches, one for power and another for display mode. It's a very cool item, well worth the price. ... show more

My back window is tinted, but on the brightest setting, the sign is quite visible in bright Colorado daylight, if you're close enough :) IOW, anyone behind you at stop signs, stop lights or who is tailgating will have no trouble reading the sign in daylight. At night, you might have to turn the brightness down. The double sided tape is difficult to work with -- hard to get the backing off without stretching it a lot. People with long fingernails may do better. I applied the sign to my back window today and the outside temp was 90 deg. I hope the tape holds. Written instructions could be a lot better. If you want to flip the sign 180 deg because of the power plug, use the Mirror On command instead of the Rotate command! Apple emojis do not work when adding text. They just create blank spaces on the sign. I'd like to add a flag to the text line, but haven't found a way yet. ... show more

It works better than I expected! There are some issues with saved text formatting when changing between them; I like center justified text but when using previously stored text it goes back to right justified - annoying. The most difficult part of installation was getting the backing off the double sided adhesive. Time will tell, but at this time I’m very happy! ... show more
