My last experience with sunglasses was through my optometrist. I usually don't buy glasses from an optometrist, but I had some insurance money and thought I could get a good deal. To make a long story short, it was not a good experience. So, I was delighted with this whole experience. Amazon delivered, as always, in a timely manner. Let me just start off by saying that as long as your buying directly from Amazon (so sold and shipped by) there should be absolutely no question as to authenticity. I received two of the three pairs I ordered three days ago (one of these, two pairs of Erikas - the third should be coming tomorrow) and they're perfect. After reading various reviews voicing concerns of authenticity, I made sure that under seller I selected the Amazon option for each pair (a few bucks more than some, but still way lower than the RP). I would highly recommend that if you buy through Amazon that you do the same to ensure a hassle-free and worry-free purchase. I first came across these about a year and a half ago after I somehow managed to bend the frames of my Ray-Ban aviators. I have a larger than average head/face, so as much as I like wayfarers and clubmasters, they really just don't look right. I ended up buying them for full price from a well-known online dealer (best known for their large selection of shoes) and was more than happy to do so. They're really a great looking pair of sunglasses. I gave my first pair a beating over the past year and a half, so it was time that they were replaced. Decided to go through Amazon this time around since I basically got these and a pair of Erikas for the RP of these alone. They're identical to my first pair (dimensions, etching, made in Italy) so I am completely satisfied. Amazon has now officially become my new go-to place for sunglasses. ... show more

So I had this exact same pair of sunglasses for about a year...best sunglasses I ever owned...until I left them in a rental car. Saddest day OF MY LIFE. So I waited and waited and wasn't going to buy another nice, "expensive" pair of sunglasses. But I missed them too much! Lucky for me, they were about $50 less expensive on Amazon than I had originally paid at Sunglasshut. The polarization is incredible, especially when driving or really doing anything where you want less glare and more vibrant colors. The lenses are obviously large, but they fit my face nicely. And the hinges are extremely high quality. Over the year that I had my previous pair, they never got loose or started to wobble. BUY THE THING! ... show more

After reading all the reviews and after I received my pair I was more than satisfied. The 60mm were perfect for my face and the tortoise shell frames go well with my dark red hair.. I always wanted to try a pair of Ray Bans and I can safely say your vision is so much better wearing these sun glasses,you see things in a new colorful way.Being polarized and made in Italy just an extra topping for this product..These are Real Ray Bans and I plan on buying a few other styles very soon.. ... show more

These sunglasses are pretty sweet! I bought these in the 60 mm version and returned them cause they were way too big (free shipping and free returns made it easy). I noticed there was also a 56 mm version which I ordered soon after. These fit perfectly and look amazing. If you read reviews of people having to return them cause of size, just know there's also a smaller version (although in less color options and a polarized version is not available). Also, these are legit for sure, the bar code tag says they were sold to/through amazon by Luxottica, which owns/produces the Ray-Ban brand and a few others. I also compared them side to side at a Sunglass Hut and at they were exactly the same(the logos, etching, etc). The only thing that is slightly different is the case they come in. One last thing, these vary in price a lot week to week or even day to day. I've seen them between 94 and 130. So if you're patient you can get them cheaper certain days. ... show more

Recently purchased these sunglasses as a replacement for a lost pair of Wayfarers. This model looks similar to my old glasses but with a larger field of view. Extremely comfortable and would appear to be very durable. The view through these glasses is clear and sharp. I know from my first pair that the lens are fairly scratch resistent. Assuming I don't lose these like the first pair, they should be a pleasure to own and a better value that any $20 pair of drugstore glasses. I purchased these from an Amazon retailer, "Paris Miki Optical". Although they had the lowest price (plus free shipping and no tax), I was shocked at how fast I received them. I am historically an oakley person, however could not find a pair I liked in their current styles so I started searching Ray Bans - came across these that looked great and were a great price! These glasses are high quality and serve their purpose well (I can look directly at the sun and barely be squniting). Love the looks of them but word of advice - the frames are rather large so if you have a small face they may not suit you. ... show more
