This is a great bat for practice for my son. It allows him to have the length and weight of his game bat but the skinnier barrel helps to develop better hand eye coordination. It was hard at first because it was harder to connect with the smaller barrel. But now he is drilling the ball and it has some great pop too so he can actually see what the ball will do. ... show more

DO NOT BUY!!! Like the other negative reviews, my 6yo played less than one coach pitch fall ball season with this bat and it has a significant bend to it. No other huge dents, digs or chips I would expect if it was used for anything other than it's intended purpose. This is the second Rawlings bat that has been ruined just by using it in normal circumstances. Will not buy another Rawlings anything. Too late for a return of course. ... show more
