My 9 year old loves this bat. He’s got great bat speed so -10 was a good fit for him. Bat has great pop. At this age this is a very good quality bat. A Great value! Highly recommend.

It's still the off season for baseball in our area, so this bat has not yet been used in any games. It's a very nice quality, one-piece bat, very well balanced, good shape, good sweet spot for hitting. The added review pics show the 30" -10 model, which is the right size for a family friend's little leaguer, who has outgrown his bats from last season. He was previously using a -10, so he's used to the weight (which is very light weight), and the extra length gives him more plate coverage - this one being just 1 ounce heavier than his last bat, but the balance of the length to weight is perfect. It's important to check your league's rules to see which bat weights you will be allowed to use before ordering. The good thing about the one piece bats over the composite two-piece bats is that the one piece bats don't have any break-in procedures, they're ready to go, out of the box. As for value, this bat is probably better than anything you might find at a big box store, but it will be up to your hitter to let you know how they feel about that. I've known guys in my time who had the highest cost bats and they weren't very good hitters, but in my opinion, this bat is worth the $149 price as of this writing. This is a homerun from Rawlings.

This baseball bat is truly beautiful, I love the look of the pale yellow against the pink text. My wife occasionally plays a little baseball, although we'll probably keep it around the house simply to have something to bonk an intruder with more than we will be playing ball with it. We certainly will be using it to smack some baseballs on occasions where we got to the park. My wife has already been scolded by neighbors for hitting baseballs into their yard so we have to be careful, especially with a bat that feels like it can really hit them out of the park, so to speak. My wife did clandestinely hit some balls early this morning and said the feel was very well-balanced and powerful, although she had to limit how hard she was hitting them to avoid another "you could have hit my mother" complaint. She mentioned that it also has a widened sweet spot. She doesn't play in any sort of leagues, so you may need to check the rules of yours to see if there's any regulations that would make this bat ineligible for use because of its design. The grip has a nice squishiness to it, but it also has a sort of sticky feeling, it really helps your hands cling to the bat in a way I've never experienced before. It is surprisingly heavy, at least to me, but I've mostly only handled cheap baseball bats. This one feels like the best quality I have ever personally been in possession of. I do think the AI design is a little gimmicky, and I didn't realize that the barrel was designed by AI until after we received it and noticed the Generative AI button on the base of the handle. I think at about $150, it's a good value for the money, and I think in addition to being a baseball bat it would also successfully bonk a home intruder into submission, although hopefully we'll never have to find out.

We have always been a fan of Rawlings bats. My older boys have had multiple over the years, and they are good quality at a reasonable price. My husband always comments that they are evenly weighted (not end-loaded), which makes them easier for smaller guys to swing. I got this bat for my 11 y/o son. He is very happy with the appearance, and he says it is easy to swing. We have tested it out in the garage (currently snow outside) and he has a nice level swing with this bat. We are looking forward to baseball season starting in a few months.
