My son is 17 and plays high school baseball and travel ball. Last year his team won the CIF championship and he is always in need of a new bat. He has a few bats but said that he had heard that this bat performed very well so we decided to give it a try. My son was so excited for the bat he kept checking the tracking all day. As soon as the bat arrived he pulled it out and took it in our backyard to hit some balls. He absolutely loves this bat. First and foremost the aesthetics of this bat are spot on. The bat is a beautiful light blue color with a matching grip. He has a couple of bats by other manufacturers that cost almost double what this bat costs but says that this bat is just as good as his more expensive bats. He is impressed by the large sweet spot and how well the ball pops off of it. My son said that this bat is amazing for this price point. He took it to school and his teammates are excited to also give it a try. I’m happy that my son found a bat that he loves and I look forward to seeing him hit it out of the park. ... show more

My son enjoyed swinging this bat as it had just as much power and ample sweet spot as his Icon what was most noticeable to him was the balance feel that allows him to have a smoother, quicker swing with a lighter whip. After swinging a Baum bat all Summer he needed some time to get reacquainted with his Icon as it’s more end loaded and heavier feel than his Baum. When comparing the pop of the Clout to the Icon there is a difference as the at tapers off from the sweet spot to the area just before the handle. While hitting, the ball off the Clout travels with high velocity. Considering this bat is a one piece alloy you will hear the ping at contact rather than a thud from a composite bat. Aside from that this bat is great and I can’t wait to see how it performs during a game or just BP on the field. Bottom line, this is a high performing BBCOR bat at an affordable price and a must have for players swinging both wood and metal bats. ... show more
