  • Exactly what I was looking for
Living in Australia, it was difficult finding the Filled with Fright pack for Villianous. I was only finding the French version everywhere until this one. Brought a copy for my brother who has all the packs and one for myself. Perfect and exactly what I wanted.

  • Great expansion!
I’ve never seen a single Villain for this game come out as an expansion but how can you pass up on Oogie! Excited to add this to our collection for the base game!

  • LOVE these Ravensburger Disney games!
I love the quality of these games! Although, I do wish the boxes were all the same size. I’m NOT sure what size I would prefer better.. The original, 6 character box. The ‘regular’, 3 character box. OR The smaller, 1 individual character box. The different sized boxes each have their advantages and disadvantages. I do find that having 3 different sized boxes is a little less efficient. I have TRIED to combine ALL of my Villains into ONE Organized, Traveling container, but I have not gotten it to where I’m completely satisfied with it, not quite yet anyways. Maybe this is an idea that Ravensburger could address themselves. I KNOW I’m NOT the only who has been experimenting with single travel case ideas. ... show more

  • Great art and easy one to learn to play
Expansion pack you will need one of the other characters to be able to play, the art work is great and this character is easy to learn to play. The dice are red with play and sometimes it is hard to read them but other than that very good character.

  • OOGIE BOOGIE RULES
Oogie Boogie is another great addition to our collection. The box arrived in great condition and the pieces are exactly what we expected. Shipment and ordering was GREAT :)

  • Waited and waited to be disappointed
Firstly, let's discuss the frustration of getting the game. Pre-order is supposed to reserve a copy to ensure you get one but I waited weeks beyond the initial delivery date to get my box, which was then also lightly damaged at the corners. Delivery frustrations aside, as excited as I was for this character, as a lover of the movie, and as a lover of the Villainous franchise who owns every single one... I find Oogie Boogie to be a dud. Possibly my least favorite to actually play. The dice mechanic introduces an element of failure not found in most (or maybe even any) of the other characters, which makes it more difficult to win, combined with cards that fill your hand up either because you have to draw or because you want to save a card for when it'll be useful, you end up with a hand full of cards that aren't doing you any good and you have to decide between saving cards to be useful or cycling thru the deck for what you need but increasing odds of failure. In several playthroughs Oogie Boogie either didn't summon Jack at all, or had only just done so without an opportunity to fight him by the time other players were winning. And the allies are all pretty weak, so you need to dogpile on Jack but the only mobility improvement you have is that the bathtub acts like a bus letting everyone in board to move together but still only one adjacent space at a time. Oogie is definitely an advanced character with one of the toughest objectives to actually achieve. Now because of the luck aspect, you could get lucky and get the 4 cards you need early, summon Jack, fight him and win, but it hasn't happened for us in practice, he's always the furthest behind everyone else, and usually by a wide margin. 4 stars because the character fits the theme, the mover looks cool, almost like it might glow in the dark or under a black light, because I love Villainous, and despite our frustrations and difficulties people continue to want to play him and see if they can figure out a new strategy that works. I'm not saying don't buy him, just be aware of what you're getting. ... show more

  • Very cool, surprised it took so long
Villainous is a pretty fun game even if it isn't balanced very well. Oogy was one of the main Villans I thought of when I first saw this game. he is a stand-alone character and like the 6th or 7th "expansion". He, along with Venom are two of my favorites, both are done the same way. Heck, if I knew they were coming out with them like this I would have held off buying the others. ... show more
