My F250 started seeming a bit squirrelly on the road. My old 7000’s were good shocks but oh my goodness, how much better the 9000’s are. I set to 6. Drive is SO MUCH better. I feel back in control. Get the 9000’s. It’s only about $100 more. Way worth it.

    • Ranchos aren’t cheap, but we almost can’t tell we are hauling a 3000 lb camper. Well worth it.
We had bought a set for our previous truck, a 2000 F350, carrying a 3000 lb truck camper and were very happy with the huge difference in handling. We were surprised to see Ranchos on the new truck, a 2016 SRW F350 and they performed well. Most of the 50,000 miles on the 2016 were hauling the same 3000 lb slide-in camper. That truck is just starting to show a sign of sway and not correcting immediately so replaced the original shocks with this new set as we are hoping to get to Alaska yet this summer. Yes they are somewhat more expensive but we have been very pleased with performance. ... show more

    • Boots are to small on front.
Had to stretch them over to barley get zip tie on. Ride is good at the 3/4 setting. 2014 f250ps.

I took all the old shocks off my truck installed the new shocks found out when I went to adjust them that one of the adjusters was broken. So I called the supplier for Amazon and he said that I would have to takeoff all the shocks Reebox and send them back to Amazon And they would review it my case. Mind you you can purchase the part on Amazon for seven dollars. So I went to do that and Amazon was charging $23 for shipping. Because it’s not a prime item. So they are on my truck one of them not adjusted. Then I called Rancho manufacturing directly and explained my situation in hopes that they would send me a part gratis Warranty they took my address said they would and they did not. I have been an Amazon prime user for many years and have been very satisfied with the products purchased. This time it looks like I’m getting the old heave ho. ... show more

    • OK shock depending what you’re looking for
Very disappointed with the ride and shock quality after I thought I was going to get better shocks moving from Bilstein 5100. From the paint to the boot to the ride quality there’s no comparison the Bilstein 5100 so much better and a lot less money. There on my truck and I guess I will deal with them for the next four years or if I sell my truck sooner. My Truck came with the original Rancho 5000 that after 1 year I took off and replaced with Bilstein 5100, I thought I would give the Rancho 9000 a try as they were thicker diameter and adjustable but regret it now. Like many other reviews that complain about the paint, that the shocks rust fast I did the same thing and bought clearcoat engine paint to paint them so they would not rust fast, after seeing the quality of the paint I understand why. If you’re a big off-roader maybe the Rancho shocks would be better for you with the adjustment, but I’m on street pavement 90% of the time and the Bilstein was such a better smooth ride. ... show more
