I bought these wipers for two different vehicles: 2013 Cadillac SRX and 2020 BMW 330i xDrive. The 24" & 19" wipers for the BMW 330i xDrive show as direct replacement, but they are NOT. This model year has a cover that attaches to the wiper arm. This cover conceals the rubber washer fluid hose that feeds several washer spray nozzles that are embedded into this cover piece. In the first attached picture, one can see how this cover comes up to the very end of the wiper arm. If you zoom in on that photo, you can see the end of the wiper arm barely peeking out between the cover and the rounded plastic end (with an arrow on it) of the replacement wiper assembly that I did find to fit. The Rain-X Latitude Water Repellent replacement would not fit on this arm because it has a plastic piece that goes over the top of the wiper arm. Unfortunately, you cannot slip anything between the wiper arm and the cover w/sprayers, and this cover is firmly attached flush to the top of the wiper arm. After struggling with this for several minutes, I scanned the QR code on the back of the Rain-X wiper package, filled in their form, and watched their vehicle-specific installation video. It helped me get passed a couple steps, but in the end, their demonstration vehicle had a bare wiper arm with no wiper cover for the spray nozzles. I would have thought that someone would have caught this vehicle design change by now and that the fitment guides would have been updated for this by now to exclude whatever BMW models include this design change. Now for the second pair of wipers, I purchased those for a 2013 Cadillac SRX. They went on quite easily. The provided instructions showed exactly what I needed to remove the outer adapter piece and slip the remaining adapter pieces into the wiper arm. Installation of both front wipers took all of about 4 minutes. Initial impression after a test run was favorable. The wipers provided good coverage and a clean wipe. Love these Rain-x wiper blades. My second time buying these 28” blades for my 2018 Edge. Durability is good and they function well. Follow the instructions for activating the Rain-X and you’ll love them. Watch the prices as they vary a lot. Sometimes the 5 Pack is a better deal, but not always. Was never sure why a 5 pack is even popular as they get installed in pairs, but… In this instance, at the point in time, it was less expensive per blade, to buy the 2-pack. They came very well packaged. I had tried other blades from other brands that were bent to accommodate the box they came in. Not these! It’s a long blade and comes in a long box!! These aren’t the cheapest blades out there, but they are the best!! ... show more

The installation takes 5 seconds. You pull two pieces of plastic out (for my car) and then snap into place. However, to get that information is a bit of frustration. They give information about arm types and not car models. So you have to go to the rainx website and put your vehicle in. It will return the blades that fit your vehicle and look for the "Arm Type" under the blade description table to know the arm type for your car. Write down your arm type and then rainx lattitude with water repllency; that is the information you need to get the installation instructions. Another thing to watch out for is that this model is called Latitude with water repellency which is different from Latitude when it comes to the installation instructions since the middle housing looks different. So, if you think the actual thing looks completely different, then double check that. After that you can see the installation video of your blade type and wiper type. They don't allow you to full screen the videos and so have to go to youtube to see it but then you have to watch ads or sometimes get the wrong video and watch something completely random. I don't know why you'd cheap out on video hosting and redirect everyone to a different an ad-filled site that will not send you on a even more confusing hunt for the right video. On the installation sheet, they say remove yellow blade cover. It is black not yellow. Also, installation sheet gives a QR code and says go to rain-x.com but then rainx.com is the website you get if you search for them. At the end of the video, it says run the wiper blade for 2-3 minutes dry and then spray to see water beads. The blades have a sticky gluey, gooey thing at the ends. When new and so running it dry for 2-3 minutes put some gummy lines all on the windshield. I don't know if this is supposed to happen or not, or I should clean out those lines or not or they are part of the water repellent system. The video doesn't say what the repellent system actually is, just the instructions. And, for looking for water beads, when I activate my spray, the wiper blades does 3 wipes. I don't know how I'm supposed to watch for beading when the wipers clean out all the wiper fluid? I had to change my wiper blade because of me doing a stupid thing; running the wiper blades when they were frozen. It caused the wiper rubber part to stick to the windshield wiper and then separate (shown in one of the photos). Just have to make sure I don't do this again; heat up the car first before running wipers and if possible put the wipers if its going go below freezing and have to use my car when its frozen. Overall, be prepared to spend about 30 minutes figuring out how to install it. If you're in a hurry, you can maybe buy this at a auto parts store and they will replace it for you and then you have to deal with their delays. The wiper seems to work good and so no complaints there. Just complaints about the getting the instructions for installation which you'd expect to get to in a few seconds not take half an hour to figure out. ... show more

I bought a pair of "lookalike" wipers from Amazon 2 weeks ago. They just suck. These Rain-X Latitude cost three times as much, but they are worth every penny. My wife's car came with these wipers and I've always commented on how great they were. The generic lookalikes were literally identical, but they were loud and streaky from day one. I have used Rain-X wiper blades in the past and think they are decent quality for the price. They don't streak or squeak. However, they seem a little questionable when attaching to the wiper assembly. I had a hard difficult time determining if the blades were properly attached. All seems to well so far, so I must have done it correctly. And, oh yeah, the instructions were pretty good. A lot of instructions these days rely on just pictures, but these included written instructions as well which really helped prep the blade for assembly. ... show more

I bought these wipers for our Ram 1500. They were fairly easy to install, and had a perfect fit. The cost is reasonable . We were able to test the wipers immediately as we had a torrential downpour.
