I poured it out of the 2 gal container in various areas spreading with a broom on a 43 year old cement basement floor after hand scrubbing first 2 days before. It soaked in well and the reapply 40 min later also did well. Then I took a damp flat mop another 40 min later to get up any still wet areas. No smell at all. I won't know until I finish the total basement floor and test for radon if it helps. It did give a low sheen and I can see that the surface is sealed.

*Product review* RadonSeal Plus is a terrific product. Followed the directions, used a mask but I think it was unnecessary as no odor. You have to work the product into the concrete with a broom, wet it down as described, and it's terrific. Did my shed which was dusting horribly and now it's perfect, and the concrete floor area inside (shown in picture). Worked equally well on a new slab and a 50-year old slab. Called company once with some questions and they took the time to answer everything and even looked at my pictures! Great product, highly recommend. [This is a real product review from a real customer.]

I washed the wall with etching acid to clear any efflorescence, wait for the wall to completely dry, then wire brush the wall and vacuum the wall. I misted the wall and spray the product. After 2 times of applying the product, I still see a lot of efflorescence in one spot. This spot has 1/4 inch of crystalline efflorescence before, and it's the same amount after sealing. I washed and brushed the spot again, and applied 2 more times. It's still there. I did a quick brush and wash, and applied Rapid Set Waterproofing Mortar, and it finally get rid of the efflorescence. That make me question if the sealer did anything at all.

I loved how easy it was to apply and how effective it is to date. It did a wonderful job pulling out the impurities and the concrete is more solid just like it states on the label. The odor isn't bad either.

Easy to apply, goes on clear, is not stinky. You can see where it was applied as it has a little bit of a sheen. Pretty pricey but I wanted peace of mind. We did pass our radon test but we also had a mitigation system installed at the same time, so I can't say if this helped or not.

Recently I bought a house with a shop outbuilding. The concrete floor kept deteriorating to a flour like powder surface just from walking on it. Constant vacuuming to keep the dust in check. I followed the directions for application and this product hardened the concrete such that the surface is no longer turning to powder and I only have to vacuum occasionally for the usual dirt. No flour powder.

This product does not work. I have now sprayed it on my basement floor in water seepage area 8 times. Water still seeps through when it rains. The radon plus then forms a white residue that peels up or just remains on floor looking awful. It does not work and leaves a mess.
