So glad I bought the 9.5M for my 8.5 EEEE feet, these fit well-ish. The plus side, is that since these are flexible, it negates the wide feet issue. The negative side, is even a 9.5 person's foot is still not as wide as my feet. SO, I fear chaffing and blistering may become a problem in these, since the limited run I had them on for, as soon as a bit of sand got in through the holes (which it will, and not from the top but the sides) it'll cause uncomfortable rubbing and chaffing given my weird stride pattern, due to how messed up my feet are. On the plus side, they went on easy, are super light, and have enough sole that even on my heavily ROOTED ground, I couldn't feel anything trying to worm its way through the sole, while remaining nice and flexible. Shoes and I have a hate hate relationship. These will more than work and be great for 90% of people out there. Hence why I would recommend them as water shoes. I have genetically cursed feet, so they're not perfect for me, and personally I'd give them like a "C-", I think the average person would give them a "B" or "B+". Wore these to the water park all day. They fit great and work great, the strap is easy to adjust and they stay on even on some intense slides. They are flexible right out the package so no worries with break-in. The only issues I have after wearing them for a few hours they did start to get uncomfortable. The bottom is a hard rubber and there isn't really much of a sole so it still feels hard and walking on the water park turf, concrete and standing in lines waiting to get on rides you do feel it. In the water is a different story, but on hard surface you feel it and it starts to hurt after a time. ... show more

Bought these prior to a trip to the beach. I've worn them all day and they are light years better than any other water shoe I've tried. These have an actual insole instead of the flimsy fabric that slides around and ends up in the garbage. Very comfortable walking on pavement, asphalt, and seashell filled sand. Very little sand got inside the shoes even after hiking across the beach and swimming in the ocean thanks to the drawstrings. The traction on the soles work well on slippery surfaces that you wouldn't dare to wear Crocs on. I only wear water shoes at the beach or the pool because I hate toe thongs or sandals. I wear a size 11 shoe and thanks to those before me here that said these were true to size I ordered a size 11 with a perfect fit. So far I'm highly impressed with these shoes. These are the shoes I've needed my whole life! I've struggled with plantar faciatis and bad knees on and off for years and both have vanished wearing these. I think it's that my foot can form to the ground naturally with each step because of the flexible soles which also allows me to feel much more stable on uneven surfaces (I tend to roll my ankles but not in these). I bought these and another similarly priced pair of water shoes I found on Amazon for a family trip to Italy. The town we are staying in has literally hundreds of stair steps down to the beach and the beach itself is mostly rocky and pebbles more than sand, so I needed water shoes. These were the most comfortable by far. Good sole, real arch support, and easy to get on and off. They also did a pretty good job keeping pebbles out of them. I wish these shoes fit me because they are so darn soft and comfortable. Exactly as described , except the size runs just a bit snug fir me. I am usually a 9.5 with socks and Unfortunately these do not have enough length room for my feet without socks and that’s the only reason i had to return them because my toes were getting pressed down. i was hoping that it would be a perfect fit whenever i order shoes, and this does! not only did it fit, but it was also easy to put on and is comfortable. swimming in it feels good and natural, it does protect from stepping on the sharp rocks/reefs. only complaint i have is the inserts tend to slip back and gets out of place, forcing me to take it off and adjust by pushing it back in. other than that.. it's a good product at a good price. ... show more

Though the shoe is advertised to be unisex, it runs big in width. It’s clearly a man’s shoe. The elastic can be pulled tight and locked in place but they are still loose fitting for women with an A or B foot width. Thus there isn’t enough support. I make do with them … they are good enough for a 1 hour water aerobics session… but I wouldn’t be able to walk in the surf or a creek. ... show more
