I came so close to not choosing this scaled down version of a pool table by Rack, because a number of verified purchasers received a severely damaged one and it was described as mint green. In the display photo the green felt looked so bright and light colored, almost a florescent green, which I didn't like. But I very much wanted a green felt table top instead of red, blue, or black to provide that traditional pool table look (it was going in a room surrounded by Victorian style woodwork). Also the side wood panels of the table looked so light colored in that one brightly lit photo. But I quickly realized that Rack and this table in particular had such a good overall rating from so many customers. I figured there may have been warehouse storage and shipping issues in the past but now have likely been corrected by the company to prevent such severe damage, given all the current positive reviews. Well, I'm so glad I decided to go with this table by Rack, which reached my door in only a few days. After taking it out of the box and unfolding the legs to set it up, which didn't take long at all, I saw how sturdy and well built it was! I examined it from head to toe and was very impressed and very pleased. The balls aren't cheap lightweight plastic balls either, which was one of my fears. They're just like real billiard balls (only smaller) with a good amount of weight and made of the same type of resin. To my delight, the felt on top was a nice middle tone green instead of light green. The wood collor and pattern on the side panels was darker and warmer than what I saw in the display picture, so I was really happy about that. The wood color next to the brass colored metal trim around the pockets just looks so good together. I played on this pool table for hours on that first day and it easily exceeded my expectations. I was worried it was going to look and feel cheap upon seeing it in person. Quite the opposite happened. The table surface is smooth and level. And it doesn't look or perform as a table just for kids, which was another concern of mine. Adults can easily play upon this table in a serious way just like a full sized pool table. The look and feel of it is quite similar. Later that night, I did notice that the tip on one of the cue sticks had been slightly chipped. It's something that likely happened at one of their warehouses or at one of Amazon's. I'm guessing it fell off a shelf and landed on its tip. It's hard to notice unless you really look close, so that was understandable that it was overlooked. I called their support number on their website and got someone right away. She was very nice and polite. I described the damage, provided my order number and address and she had an entirely new cue stick sent out to me the next day at no extra charge, which arrived in about 3 days. So far, I'm loving this table and have zero regrets. I definitely chose the right scaled down pool table in my opinion. I predict there will be many fun games played on it for many years. I'm very happy with this purchase and strongly recommend it to anyone who is looking for a smaller pool table to fit into their home. ... show more

I got this table as a gift for my boyfriend’s birthday and he absolutely LOVES it! We’ve played quite a few games, and the table plays way better than we imagined it. We’ve been able to do skip shots and spins off the cue ball. Super easy to assemble and pretty good quality, not too heavy nor too light. The table is level and pretty sturdy. Plus, we love the way it looks. The balls play predictable speeds and the felt is very even. The only thing we don’t love is that the felt is easily marked. So, be weary of shots that could leave dents. We brush the table after every game to decrease any damage. That and the cues have wooden tips. We ordered new ones, so not a deal breaker for us. All in all, really great for the price and a staple in our home! ... show more

Fantastic table!!! We have had this table for 5 years. We don't have space for a pool table full time, so we can put this up and take it down easily. We store it on its side against a wall, so it doesn't take up any space when not in use. It It is extremely well constructed, sturdy, not wobbly. The felt is great. It's not warped at all, and we put it up and take it down regularly. Play is really fun on this table. I wanted a 5 foot table, but due to lack of space we opted for this one, the size does not take away from the fun of playing, as a matter of fact, after playing on this at home, when we go out and play on larger tables, the game is not as fun. We purchased shorter maple pool cues that work much better for the size of this table. The pockets work great. One of our nets got a tear, but we just re-tied it and it works fantastic. I never write reviews, like ever. I had to leave a line on those on the edge of making this purchase. It is an incredible table, had it for a week now. It is small enough to use in tight spaces. I don't have any serious leveling problems. Was especially worried about this, because I have owned several "large" pool tables and know how great slate material is and how bad MDF can be. This is a very well built table though, it won't last forever, but so worth the money. The customer support is the reason why I am writing this review though, they are very responsive, like within 30 minutes to respond back to me. I couldn't be happier with purchase. Last thing, I am folding it up frequently to clear the area and I found this cool outdoor TV cover to wrap it up, so it looks very clean when I hide it. This particular one below fits the table like a glove. It’s small, but for us the perfect size. so easy to put together (literally just screwing the foot stoppers on and two side pockets.. we were playing in 10 minutes. My kids love it. seems pretty sturdy, and it folds easily away for storage. If you are looking for a fun compact game table this is it!

I have been using the table for one month now and its very steady after adjusting the screws a little better. It feels like a real table but smaller. Works as it should but quality isn't the best. Need to use a lot of power for any bounce back. Kind of disappointed that the balls don't roll that easily, perhaps it's the felt.
