I bought this harness because it looked comfortable and I knew Kitty would love it. The first time I put it on her, she held real still and accepted the harness right away. She headed for the door and went outside with me holding the lead strap. She loves to smell around, lay in the fallen leaves, and eat certain grasses. This harness, while fairly secure when fitted and adjusted correctly, is not the easiest to get your cat to accept. My biggest issue is the over-the-head process to get him into it; he just does not like that process (including getting it back off!). The rest is good - the buckles for the chest are not a big issue, and the fit is good and firm so I feel he is rather secure once he is in it. At first, my cat moved very slowly, like he was on the moon, until he got used to the harness. I wish this harness had at least 1 quick-release buckle for the neck to avoid having to get it over his head to put on/off. My cat is very accommodating so this resisting is not a common behavior for him, it is just when hr had to get his harness out on or taken off. ... show more

I use this whenever I need to take my cat in the car. Her favorite activity is to attempt to jump out of the windows at drive thrus and I'm scared she'll succeed. With her harness though she is so much easier to hold inside the car and she can't get out of the harness! It took a while for her to get used to walking in it but once she was over it, it was perfect to use. Honestly I've had her fall out of my grip only held on my the leash and somehow she still stayed in the harness. She's quiet the escape artist with both the car and harnesses so it seems this one has passed the test for both! ... show more

I ordered 2 of these, one xs in pink and another small in blue. I received 2 pink harnesses, both the same size. I don't know if they are both small or xs, but they fit both the cats they were intended for, being adjustable. I won't bother with a return because the quality is good, but I'm a bit disappointed that I didn't get the blue one as ordered, since I wanted it to match the one cats blue eyes. ... show more

This harness fits my cat in a way that is comfortable for him. I've had issues with other harnesses being ill fitting and my cat hated them or he would escape. This one fits pretty well. I got the XS size. I wish it came in an even smaller size as it's too big for my other cat. And I wish the leash was longer. (Red leash in picture was purchased elsewhere.) ... show more

This is a good harness and I just bought another one now that my other cat has outgrown his kitten harness. However, cats CAN back out of it. So if they’re easily spooked or super smart or try to escape, they can. My cats don’t mind being on harnesses because it means they get to be in the yard and chase bugs but if your cat doesn’t want to stay in a harness, they are likely to find a way out of any harness you get. Other reviewers are correct that the neck strap doesn’t stay tight and I do end up needing to tighten it basically upon every use, but it’s honestly fine with me to have to do that. Not a biggie. If you’re looking for a basic use harness, this one is as good as any. ... show more

I needed a new leash for my cat's harness, but the only one that I liked included a harness. So for almost the same price as a leash I also received a well designed harness. Good deal! Both are well constructed. The SMALL harness fits my 11 pound cat comfortably. I highly recommend this set.
