This is such a cute dress and is much nicer than I expected! I am 5'4'" and weigh 120 pounds, and ordered a small, which fits perfectly. If you have a large bust, I'd size up one. Once the bottom tassels are tied snugly, my bra doesn't show. I will buy another.

I love everything about this dress. The fabric is soft and breezy, and feels wonderful on. The different shades of cream, yellows and browns is a pretty combo and the floral print on this one is so pretty too! I'm 5'3" 130 lbs. and I ordered a medium. I was going to order a small but the reviews said that some of you ladies had a tight fit across the chest....I'm glad I did because the medium fits nicely but a tad tight across my chest. I'm going to hang it on the line to dry as I don't want this pretty dress to shrink. The fabric is thin but not sheer making it a perfect summer go to dress. I like the tassels but I will probably wear a thin tank underneath so nothing goes peek o boo. I'm thinking of ordering another one in the blue print! Will be wearing this gem to church service as soon as the weather warms up. :) ... show more

I love the colors, the comfortable feel of the material and dress. However, it is cut low and the ties don’t help “close” the gap. I also found that four long ties with tassels too much. They caught on and in a lot of things (tuck them in while cooking or leaning over). I finally cut the top two off to simplify and increase my comfort level. I wear this all the time at home, I found it too “full” to wear out and I felt very large in it. If large breasted, you may want to size up as it may be too tight across the chest. I am 5’4”, 170 pds, 36D and ordered a medium, my normal size. It is very snug across my chest, but to size up for me would have been way too much dress.     • Pretty fabric, but the cut is not flattering.

I ended up ordering 2 of these dresses because I mistakenly thought my husband just did not like the color of the first dress - but he just did not like the dress shape at all. The fabric is pretty and soft, but the cut is just frumpy. (And he is not one to truly tell me his opinion - he is supportive of me to a fault sometimes - so if he said it is frumpy you can believe it is frumpy! He doesn't say things like that easily.) I will keep them both and use them for a house dress since I work from home alone all day, but I am not sure I would wear them out for anything other than quick errands. They are pretty, but they are not particularly flattering. You will not be stopping traffic with these dresses. I do find the bust area a bit tight. I am normal to large in the bust and wearing a normal bra makes the bust area feel tight. If I wear a less supportive bra it is fine - and really doesn't detract from the overall effect of the dress - which is frumpy. I really wanted to like this dress because the patterns are pretty. I did order based on their size chart - which had me order a size larger than I would from a top brand name. Based on the tightness in the bust I think I could have gone one size larger. I absolutely love this style of dress for my church gatherings! I am 5' 6" tall, 155 lbs, 38 bust, medium build and 68. During the days I'm working the ranch in jeans and hat, tossing bales of hay and scrubbing out rabbit pans. Sunday is the only day of the week that I can be a lady in appearance and behavior. I am an incredibly picky person when it comes to dresses and femininity. When I dress up, I have to sparkle and shine. The rest of the week I can be a pig. So there are very few dresses or styles that appeal to me. Many are way too 'youthful' in appearance for my age. I'm a very country farming individual, and live in the AZ desert, so I like wearing things that cover the knees, the arms, and the breasts! As a Christian that is a must. I'm not big on frills either. Simple, western, even exotically Mexican fits my needs and this design does it. I don't care for tight fitting outfits. Loose is best. And this dress design provides all of what I desire without overdoing the fancy perks to keep it both casual and for special occasions. I wear this with some really cute stone-colored knee high lacy leather boots and my husband adores the overall outcome. The upper panels on this dress give it a nice bodice and definition, and to prevent any 'cleavage' from being exposed (my dirty pillows) I tie the bottom tassles very tightly and add a safety pin to close up the gap. It is an over-the-head dress, so I do my hair after I put the dress on, otherwise I'll have a bedhead appearance. The pattern is absolutely adorable, yet not too childish or immature, so I pull it off nicely. My husband adores this style on me, and says it makes him feel like a kid again. The bottom flows so beautifully and there is no sheerness. I spray and toss the dress into the dryer to remove all wrinkles. The material is very light and wafts prettily around my knees. It is country all the way with a fling of dressy. It can be worn with or without a hat, but not my working hat, so I'll be seeking out future hats that are more church appropriate. The design looks like it was made for me, brassy yet subtle and the pastels are amazing. Colors are true to the display, and I opt for an XXL. Not because I'm a 16-18 figure (I'm truly only a medium to large figure with 38 bust) but because I like the fuller skirting and the ease of extra to pull it over my head and not struggle. The sleeves have elastic wrists and can be pulled up for a different style. I so fell in love with this design and loose flow that I have purchased 5 versions already and will likely purchase more. They do have other button down dresses similar in patterns that I might also consider. Well made, beautiful colors, and if you're a blonde like me, the sky is the limit on choices.
