I am by absolutely no means a professional chemist. I was a physics major, but I did take 3 semesters of chemistry, and 7 semesters of biology in college so I've spent some time in the lab. This equipment is comparable to what we used in our chemistry lab in school. The glass is maybe not as thick as what I'm used to, but that's both good and bad. They will be a little less durable, but will tolerate heating a little better. I can't speak to the accuracy of the graduated cylinders as I haven't got my scale yet and can't test them. I'm using these as a part of a basic home schooling lab and they're perfect for that. The droppers aren't graduated but that's not a problem at all because if you need that kind of precision, you should be using a pipette anyway. This is an excellent basic glassware set for the money. The product was packaged very well. There was an outer box, and an inner box. All of the flasks, beakers and cylinders were individually wrapped in multiple layers of bubble wrap. The droppers and stir rods were wrapped in bubble wrap in two groups. Nothing in my kit was damaged. I'm very happy with the purchase. ... show more

These are great looking. It has been downgraded to two stars, because the smallest beaker, and two eye droppers were broken upon arrival. Very disappointed.
