This was a pleasant surprise! In fairness - PLEASE be aware that this is NOT a fancy piece of furniture. Don't expect Oak and Maple for this price. However for this price it is exactly what I needed! Its sturdy and looks great! We have used it twice and no complaints from the people sleeping on it. The furniture looks good and people say it looks like a much more expensive piece. Please also note that the mechanism is a bit flimsy so be careful pulling out the base. It took me about 4 hours to put together but I was able to doit by myself. Instructions are a bit confusing but doable.

Bed comes in two boxes and will probably show up different days like mine. Boxes are heavy so recommend two people to carry into house. I assembled it fairly easy following the directions and probably took a little over an hour by myself. lots of pieces so make sure to have room. Having a little power tool helps make it go quicker. The mattress that comes with is ok but there is room when you fold it up so we bought a 1.5" topper to put on it and it still fits folded up. Have had a couple guest stay on it and they haven't complained at all. We love how it looks and no one thinks there is a bed in the room until we pull it open. Defiantly recommend for the occasional use.

This bed is attractive and actually fairly comfortable. Although, it comes with a 4 inch mattress and I think I will upgrade to a 6 inch for more comfort. The bed is attached with slides on the sides that don’t really want to stay together and does not pull out smoothly. The electrical outlet comes with it interfered with closing the drawers (we removed it). Perhaps it could be tacked up before attaching the rest of the bed. The worst thing about this product are the limited instructions. They give you pictures but no written instructions. You can access a utube video but again it is pictures and no instructions. I would only purchase this product if you are more mechanically inclined. It took my husband and I 10 hours. It was a lot of work.

Fantastic murphy bed. Fairly easy to assemble if you organize the parts before starting, read the directions and watch the videos online. Easier with 2 people, just a few hours. We did have a few cams break and a hinge that needed to be replaced but they were very responsive and quick to send replacement parts. The drawer slides out smoothly, but we do have an issue with one side not "catching" to stop. Does not affect the use at all. Folds up very easily. The cabinet is very sturdy and looks great! Wish they had matching side tables.

Very nice cabinet. It took my husband and I almost a full day to put it together. Some of the holes were not pre drilled. Despite some difficulties, we are happy with the finished product. It has already been used for guests. The mattress that comes with it is firm and thin, but works well and folds easily into the cabinet. We do have a gel mattress topper to use with it, if our guests prefer something softer. Those who used it found it comfortable without the topper. The drawers underneath work well to hold the sheets and pillows for the bed. It is a true queen size and works well in my husband’s office. Instructions were easy to follow.

We waffled on whether or not to get the Murphy bed, and which one. Finally decided to make the move, and super happy. The top is large enough to hold items, while it was tedious to put together (lots of steps) it didn't take nearly as long as I thought it would. If folds very well, and we even had room to stash a couple pillows in with the mattress. It's sturdy with its weight, but light enough to move (We just redid the floors and had to move it back and forth as we were putting in shoe molding). The bed came with a mattress, where as others the mattress was solder separately and it got more expensive quick, the drawers slide easily! We even broke a piece putting it together and reached out for a replacement. The only complaint we had, wasn't a complaint at all. it came SO much faster than we expected it to arrive. It was on the door step before I even knew to look for it. 10/10 would order again, though 10/10 don't plan on moving, so...
