Update: company contacted me and gave me an option to either get replacement parts or a partial refund. They are standing by their product. Just put it together. It took me about 3 hours by myself. First, the pros... It's sturdy. The hardware is well labeled. It's a good price. The design is good and intuitive. Most of the pieces line up well. Now the cons... It has one super thin coat of paint! I'm not kidding. You can totally see the sprayer only did 1 pass for a single thin coat. I'm going to have to paint this thing. They make it of solid wood or plywood with the exception of the barn door panels. They are made of fiber board, and it came chipped! Let's be real here. You start unpacking this and notice it, you're not going to be able to pack it back up to ship it back, nor are you going to want to go through that hassle. The instructions are not horrible, but they don't give you warnings like, "make sure the front stiles are faced the right way or the knobs won't screw on right, and you'll have to take it apart to fix." It's like bad Lego instructions in black and white... You're not going to be able to tell on some things how it's oriented because there's not enough detail/wording. Take a look through my pictures. You'll see the quality of the finish job. For the price of it with shipping, I wouldn't purchase again. I'm disappointed. I really wanted to like it. It looks so good in the pictures. I do wood working, and I debated building my own, but I don't have the time. Looks like I'm still going to do some finish work I didn't have time for. ... show more

This Murphy Bed we purchased is very impressive. Made out of real wood & very well designed. Some of the images in the instructions were not as clear as I needed to really understand which way to turn a piece to mount parts of it. And the paint job is really not that good in coverage. But overall we are very pleased with the outcome of the build & it does look awesome in the bedroom. ... show more

Update - The description has since been updated to say “mattress not included.” They worked with us & am happy with the outcome. Did not come with the mattress! Several other reviews say the same thing. Nice cabinet but misleading description, most people picked this one because it specifically says “comes with mattress”. Beautiful/Sturdy piece! Definitely takes 2 people to put together. Wood glue may be needed for the drawer, when the casters get attached, very thin piece, but worked out! Nice 3rd bed, needed for a 2 bedroom condo. ... show more
